Rave to Cody!!! I’m an older female who had a tire go flat past Elkhart. For over an hour nobody stopped to help me. My husband drove from West Kelowna. Shortly after, Cody parked behind the cars, put on the directional lights and helped him charge my tire and get us in our way. What a kind young man. The company is lucky to have him as an employee.

I have never seen such a poor effort of road maintenance..
I drove the Highway through Hell. I have driven the highway every year since it's been open. I have never seen the highway Maintenance in a poorer condition with ruts and compact snow/ice. You had to keep changing lanes looking for bare spots to drive on. The worst section was between Kingsville and Comstock. The road reminded me of a dirt 4×4 road with potholes in it all over the place with frozen ice ruts and compact ice. No sand to be seen or plow trucks. I was doing 80K and less in a 4 wheel drive with new tires, I passed 6 vehicles that were off the road with drivers in them still and two tow trucks loaded going to Merritt. It had been 72 hours after the big snow storm and +1*C and 1 lane was not clear to pavement yet! No road maintenance to be seen and very little sand had been put down as Vehicles were off the road.

Driving from Merritt to Kamloops, road in really bad shape still and no plow trucks to be seen. When we got to the Logan Lake exit it was like day-and-night with the road conditions, it was suddenly clear down to pavement again and clear shoulder to shoulder for the rest of the way to Kamloops.

Why does the highway get closed so often
Why don't I see plow trucks How many road maintenance employees do you have on a shift out of the Coldwater yard How many trucks to sand and plow When do you use sand and use ice blades
I have seen it snow 2 feet in one hour at the old toll booth area when I was a plow driver on the highway, we never closed the Highway to traffic unless we were doing avalanche maintenance and that was for only 15 minutes. Is this the new norm now 🤔

They arent very experienced and knowledgeable about this area. Worst job I have every seen since they took over from Emcon. They have no idea on the proper materials to use to keep the highway clear of ice and snow. I traveled that road for years and have never seen it ever this bad. Government should do something about this contract begore too many get killed on this road way

Once upon a time companies put sand and salt on the roads. This company puts rocks and salt. Can't believe the size of the stones they dump on the roads. No wonder people need new windshields every year!

Driven the coquihala for 4 years know. I have no idea what these guys do I never see them on the road whatsoever. Not sure how this company got the contract for 10 years

Useless at cleaning hwy from road kill, watched a truck go by a cayote carcass and that same carcass has been there over a week.
