My husband and myself would recommend Woodhouse Group to remedy any type of project. I had my lean to gazebo detach from my house and crush what was underneath. Woodhouse with the help of Jason, Kyle, Mike, and Brian restored my deck . Awesome job fellows.

Unfortunately our insurance company (CAA) used this company to quote the cost of repairs for our claim. After several months the project 'manager' for our case finally got back to CAA. He forgot to include the damage to our barbecue. I sent him an email on Jun 12, 2025 to tell him this. It's been 9 weeks and still no response. I would not recommend this company. They don't care about customer service at all.

I hired Woodhouse to legalize my house into a Duplex in 2021. I had bought the house a couple years prior with a preexisting basement unit that I wanted to have brought up to code. There were existing tenants from when I bought the house that had moved out so it was a good time to get it brought up to code so I could rent it again. They told me it would take 1-2 months to complete. I was single at the time with only one income, so the quick timeline was ideal for me to get the basement rented out quickly. When Woodhouse said 1-2 months I decided to go ahead with the work. It became evident that this was a mistake around the four month mark. Then six months. Then eight. And finally, the project was complete in nine months. I understand that construction projects go over timeline sometimes, but the workers were only on site about once a week on average. I caught Woodhouse in multiple lies, shortcuts, and atrocious workmanship along those 9 months and had to pull teeth to get anyone to show up and work. They constantly blamed Covid, labour shortage, etc. My question is: when you quoted the job, the landscape was the same - Covid & shortage of subcontractors. How was there such a huge discrepancy between the timeline I was promised and reality? Why am I still paying for this mess over two years later and you guys get to continue doing bad business?

Fast forward to completion, after multiple times asking for some help on the bill, it was near impossible to have a conversation with an owner or manager. They will not return phone calls or emails.

Finally, when I got in touch over the phone with a manager, he offered a small discount that was honestly offensive and not even close to enough to make up for the missed rental income and the cost to fix the mess the left of my basement (which I still have yet to fix because I needed to get it rented ASAP). I ended up accepting the small adjustment to the bill and paid it, mostly just to get these people out of my life and move on. I wish I could have afforded to take legal action at the time.

Stay away from this company. Hire a small contractor that takes pride in their work and does it themselves.

Pictures attached are a few examples of the poor workmanship in my home. No corner beading on drywall edges, 1+ inch thick drywall mud that never dried properly and has already started cracking and flaking away, gaps between cabinets and walls, broken light fixtures, broken stove range hood, paint all over places it shouldn’t be, and the list goes on.

They were great to communicate with, did an excellent job, showed up on schedule and were transparent about cost. They were such a pleasure to work with. I would not hesitate to hire them again for my next project. Highly recommend!

Our company (MF Property Management Ltd) has only had good experiences with Woodhouse Group; from leak investigations to flood repairs. The response time has been quick and the work timely and well done. Further, they are easy to work with which is especially important when residents are temporarily displaced/stressed about an emergency in their home. They also work smoothly with insurance which is also important, and the billing is clear and concise. We would recommend Woodhouse and their professionalism any day!

We hired Woodhouse Restorations to flip one of our units in a building we manage. From the beginning to the end the experience was exceptional! I was given a clear outline of what work was happening on what days and who would be there. Every night during renovations the unit was left in pristine conditions. There was never tools, dirt or garbage left behind.
It was also noticed that all debris taken out of the unit was taken off site by woodhouse staff, none of our outdoor bins were used. This was amazing for us because our tenant dedicated bins fill rather quickly.
During the final walk though there was nothing that needed to be touched up or corrected. I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism that was used. Satellite Community Homes looks forward to working withy Woodhouse again in the near future!

Shout out to Woodhouse! Unfortunately we had a fire at our house but the team at Woodhouse showed up the day of to clean up. They stayed right to the end of the repairs and my home looks better than ever. Love the new finishes. Thanks Cam and team for everything.
