Wesgrove Homes just recently completed a full home renovation for us and we just had the most incredible experience with them. Before starting this process (and many times throughout!) we would hear horror stories of renovations and general contractors and began to second guess what we got ourselves into. I’ll start by saying that our experience with Wesgrove was the complete opposite of every story we heard.

From the first phone call with Jason, we could tell he and his team take pride in their work and it’s obvious they love what they do. They kept up great communication with us and kept us informed of everything going on at the house. We loved that they even had an app with a schedule for all trades so we could check in to see what was happening every day. Wesgrove was so meticulous with planning that in the end they kept within the budget, and even finished the project two weeks earlier than the original estimate! After living with the reno for three months, we can confidently say the quality is outstanding, and there is nowhere where we felt that Wesgrove was trying to cut costs or compromise on quality. We are so proud of the work they have done and the home they built for us, and we hope they are too.

I would recommend anyone looking to do a reno should contact Wesgrove. We absolutely will in the future for any further projects. Thank you, Jason, Trevor, Brett & everyone on the Wesgrove team!

Wesgrove completed a major renovation for us during COVID, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team’s professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were evident throughout the entire process. They kept the worksite clean and safe daily, and the project schedule was always available online, making it easy for us to follow along. We had seen neighbors' renovations go way over budget due to undefined scopes, yet we were still skeptical about the fixed-price approach, thinking it wouldn’t be an issue for us. However, after completing this renovation, we realized how easily it could happen, and we wouldn’t choose any other approach now. We recently completed a full renovation of our two-storey, 3600-square foot family residence in Ladner. We were thoroughly impressed with Wesgrove. They were professional, diligent, efficient, and kept the project on time and within our budget. We could not be more impressed by the craftsmanship of the various skilled trades that were involved in the project, supervised by Trevor and Kevin. Throughout the project we were always treated politely and with respect. Everyone working on the project understood the importance of our residence as a family-home.

The project entailed cosmetic upgrades throughout the house including a completely new kitchen, new bathrooms, new floors, and paint throughout, new doors and refreshed lighting throughout - particularly in the common living areas. Everyone involved in the project showed superb care and attention to every detail in the project, even offering brilliant suggestions that only enhanced the renovation project. The finished renovation is simply amazing: we not only got what we envisioned, but so much more!

We wish to also extend our sincere gratitude to Jason Mitchell, president of Wesgrove. Jason led by example for everyone involved in the project: he saw to the overall care of the project, demonstrated his professional experience with ease, and crafted a renovation project that we are enjoying immensely. Jason delivered a completed project that fully exceeded our expectations, and he has continued to check-in with us after the renovation was completed.

Working with Jason and his crew was an especially great experience. Renovations can be stressful, especially when you are living in your house and 1/3 of it is uninhabitable. Wesgrove checked all the boxes for what a contractor should do - there was great communication, the crew and subcrew were polite and tidy, and the renovation finished when they said it would. This is the second major renovation we have done to our house (both renos $100k+), and I wish Wesgrove had been in business when we did the first! After this renovation, we will use Jason and Wesgrove for all of our future work.
I was also really impressed when talking to the subtrades. They also couldn't say enough good things about working with Wesgrove. It's one thing for a company to treat a client well but these conversations showed me how much Jason cares about all facets of the business - it is about developing good relationships with everyone, not just selling a product to a client.
If you are looking for a contractor that will treat you fairly, don't look any further. This company is the real deal, and I can't say enough good about them. Or how happy I am in my new space!

Wesgrove completed a major renovation of our home in 2022. Not only did they perform great work, they ensured that all subcontracted work was completed properly and as requested. As well as doing great work, Wesgrove kept a clean and safe worksite, never leaving any mess at the end of the day. The Wesgrove team was professional, polite and respectful at all times - a real pleasure to have around. One of the things that impressed us the most about Wesgrove, is that they kept a precise work schedule online that we could view at any time. We knew each day who would be coming and what work was going to be done. They stuck to the schedule and budget like glue and finished our project exactly when they said they would. We have another project that we hope to do in 2025 and we will definitely be using Wesgrove again.
