I found Dave the technician very thorough and polite as he was troubleshooting the problem with my Rinnai on demand hot water unit. He cleaned everything and did all the necessary checks he could do. Reset the temperature on the controllers to 120 degrees and for now everything seems fine. Waywest is going to do a quote to replace the unit in the same location as the existing one.

We had Josh change our gas hot water tank as well as our water lines from poly b to pex. He did an outstanding job. We were very impressed how neatly the job was done. Our cost came in under estimate. They certainly don't over charge for their work. We have and will recommended Waywest to others.

Very good service, especially Kyle, he can solve all of our issues on our cooling equipment in very fast way. We are a restaurant in Nanaimo and have many different coolers and refrigerators. By cooperation with Waywest, we have no worry on it further.

I called to address a dryer issue, explained everything I had done to rule out several potential problems, and specifically requested a fuse replacement. Despite this, they scheduled a 'consultation' anyway. When the technician arrived, they had none of the information I had provided over the phone. They spent a couple of hours troubleshooting everything I had already checked and did not bring the fuse I had requested. I was charged for the consultation, and they said they would come back but never did.

I followed up with a call and was told I’d receive a callback, but I never did. After calling again, I was once more told I’d get a callback, but again, no one followed up.

Update: I received a call after leaving this review and was told they may reduce or refund the consultation fee, as they agreed that there was no follow-up and my machine was never repaired. I have updated my review because I no longer feel taken advantage of, though I still feel the service i recieved was inadequate.

All together a good experience in a bad situation. Polite professional and got the job done. Prices were reasonable and they did their very best for me. Excellent plumbers and excellent company!!!!! Had to ask for a courtesy help with invoice &that could not have been more helpful or understanding. U can't go wrong with picking this company, from the integrity of the owner to to the sincerely of, including support staff. They aren't there to get every dime u have, rather there to help.👋
