READ ALL THE REVIEWS!!! I sure wish we did. Grandview Homes/United Homes is the worst homebuider I have ever dealt with in my life. Everyone goes into building a home knowing it will have some bumps along the way but it’s the builder’s response to those things that determines what kind of company they are. Design process was painful even with buying a show home off the lot. Order out your own services, you’ll save piles of money and have less pain. Once ink on final cheque dried and we were no longer of use service went downhill rapidly. Concerns were not addressed in a timely manner and when they did come, did not thoroughly inspect root causes. Damages resulted. New Home Warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. Ownership and construction coordinator were arrogant and unhelpful in working with us to resolve the problems and will blame home owners or weather for problems as you will undoubtedly see in their reply to this review and you can easily tell in all the other reviews. I would not recommend this company to build anyone a garden shed let alone a home for your family.

Buyer Beware!!
No, just no. Do not purchase a manufactured home from this company. Don't have any service completed by them, either. From site prep work to post delivery service, we had multiple delays and problems. I would never recommend this company or service department - never! Buyer beware and steer clear of this company!!

The initial sales portion of our experience was great, they understood what we were looking for as far as layout and design and offered better options than other mobile home manufacturers.

The construction of the home is not the quality I was expecting leaving us with numerous repairs and after purchase necessary upgrades. The thousands of dollars in upgrades we made through them are very disappointing and I am very dissatisfied with the overall quality of the home.

Delivery was a day late without notification or any communication.

Warranty experience - by far the worst customer service and organization I've ever experienced. The repairman is wonderful, he is clean and very thoughtful of our home and our family but can't complete most tasks due to his scheduling of materials or information relaid from warranty coordinator. It has been over a year and still dealing with numerous items that could be very simply completed. There was also a lot of items they mearly said "that's as good as we can do." Or just didn't even respond or address the issues. The Warranty Coordinater is Extremely inexperienced and difficult to work with.

I reached out to UHC to help rectify a humidity issue that i was experiencing in a home i recently purchased. Due to my out of town work, and the pandemic, scheduling was a bit of an issue on MY side of the arrangement. Steve and his team were extremely accommodating, communicated well and were patient with my constant need to reschedule. I couldn't have asked for a better group to arrange an appointment with.

When my schedule finally permitted Steve and one of his colleagues to come take a look at my home, i was more than impressed. He and his colleague spent a good two hours checking and re-checking any contributing factors that could be causing my issue. They came loaded with gear too like a thermal imaging camera and a variety of sensors. Not only did they find and help me rectify my problem, but they also continue to follow up that my problem is still solved.

Before contacting Steve, I had also contacted a well known basement contractor from Calgary to come have a look - those folks spent 10 minutes, told me to replace my windows and tried to sell me on a different inspection all together. Steve and his team at UHC didn't try to sell me anything - they wanted to be certain we found the cause of the problem (which they did) before suggesting any financial obligations/repairs. They found the repair, which cost me $0 to fix. I could not have asked for a better experience, I would recommend these guys to anyone. If I could give six stars, I would.

OK to be fair, I own the company, so I'm a bit bias. However, I don't know how else to address these negative reviews. My team works very hard to ensure our customers are very satisfied. We have probably the most comprehensive purchasing process and thorough contract identifying everything one should expect in order to ensure our customers receive exactly what they have purchased. However, you can't please everyone. For those who are unpleased for whatever reason, we implore you to contact us, or better, come visit myself and my management team so that we can listen to your concerns and perspective and give us the opportunity to rectify your concerns.
I find it disheartening that negative reviewers are able to articulate such horrible and slanderous comments and have influence over prospective purchasers, when often the reasons they are left dissatisfied is because the company refuses to pay out of pocket for damages that they have caused themselves. I agree you should read all reviews but I implore you to also check the facts, or at least ask for the other side of the story before you blindly make a decision based on a negative review.
You should also consider that in today’s society, it is difficult to solicit a positive review, so look at the timeline of the reviews and compare against the number of projects a company does each year. I think that’s the better way to judge overall performance and satisfaction.
I have an open door policy and have always invited present, past as well as prospective customers to give me a call. I’m always happy to answer any question, and with me you will always get the truth. Even when it hurts sometimes, as is usually the reason for negative reviews.
Sincerely, Steve Vail, President and CEO.

Without Bias, but if you are in the market to buy a new home, make United Homes Canada your first stop on that Journey!!! A locally owned and operated business with locations in Airdrie as well as Red Deer selling quality homes, backed with above industry average servicing and accomodation. A very helpful and friendly staff will happily answer any inquiries you may have. Ok well I guess that does sound a little bias, but every word is the honest to god's truth!!!

THE worst dealer we have ever met! No experienced sales personnel, their warranty is an absolute joke, there is none. Would never recommend United Homes, neither the product they sell (Triple M Homes)
