Last summer, our family decided to make the trek to Newfoundland to spend some time exploring a change of scenery and various opportunities. After some back and forth, we realized we were missing many aspects of life in Brantford. So, we picked up the phone and quickly gave a call to Amy Henderson from the Munir Group.

We knew we wanted to sell our home and move to a new home in the Brantford area. This presented Amy with a unique situation as we were in Newfoundland still and we also had our home to sell in Brantford with tenants living in our home. From video calls and virtual tours to accommodating us with the time difference, Amy cultivated a trusting, honest, and positive relationship that gave us a high level of comfort in selling our home and purchasing a home from afar. Many pieces had to fall into place for this to work, but Amy helped us navigate each step of the way!

Throughout the process, Amy provided her expertise and insight about all things real estate and we always knew we could reach out with our questions, thoughts, and concerns. These realtors were the epitome of incompetence and dishonesty. From the moment I hired them, it was clear they were only interested in taking my money and running. I entrusted them with the task of finding suitable tenants for one of my properties, assuming they’d handle the basics—credit checks, background checks, reference calls, and even just verifying IDs and banking information. But they did none of that. Not a single one of those critical steps was carried out.

Instead, they rushed through the process without any due diligence, leaving me stuck with tenants who have now not paid rent for over six months. It’s clear these realtors had no concern for my interests or even for basic professionalism. They handed the keys over to tenants without so much as a glance at their background. What makes it worse is that the realtor actually knew these tenants personally and still vouched for them. It’s not like they didn’t know; they were fully aware of who they were dealing with, and they still chose to push them through as if everything was fine.

After pocketing a full month’s rent as their fee, these realtors disappeared into thin air. They don’t answer calls, texts, or emails. It’s as if they never existed. Their complete lack of accountability and professionalism is appalling. They took my money, made false promises, and left me to deal with the aftermath. I’m now stuck in a situation where I have unreliable tenants, no rent coming in, thousands in damages, and legal fees piling up to evict them—all thanks to these negligent and unscrupulous realtors.

I can’t stress this enough: do not, under any circumstances, consider working with this team. They are untrustworthy, unprofessional, and clearly only out to make a quick buck at your expense. This experience has been a costly, frustrating nightmare, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

I'm a first-time home buyer and I can't say enough good things about Jen Connor!! Since March we've been looking for houses. She's dealt with all my calls, text's, emails! We went through so many houses and she was upfront about every house and never hid anything from me. We finally found the house last week and she's been amazing!! She's helped me with all the lawyers, mortgage agents, etc. and has been super helpful. The one great thing about Jen (I could go on forever) was that I felt very comfortable with her.
