Had my wedding at The Metro and everyone said that it was the best party they had been to. The dance floor was alive ALL NIGHT, Chris did a fantastic job of making my groom and I feel taken care of, and the rest of the staff was friendly and efficient. Great job, I would recommend The Metro to anyone holding an event.

We held our ceremony/reception at this location.
And it was such an amazing experience.
Its a fantastic location with a beautiful venue, you honestly can host anything there as is without extra decorations and it would still look great!
Not to mention how attentive the staff were, from the chef of their buffet, the day of coordinator, the bartender, and the planner team contact they 100% had our backs.

10/10 would definitely recommend.

We hosted a party for a social club that I help run recently at The Metro Hall.

Linda and her staff were all AMAZING, helpful, and understanding. This was the first event of this type I have organized, and they were flexible through the entire process. Everything from walking me through their different options, to inquiries about additional costs, or making absolute last minute additions was a breeze! For example, we needed to rent additional folding tables in the final hours before our event and the staff simply allowed us to use what was needed and set up an invoice later after we determined how much we needed.

Since our club is small and has limited operating funds, Linda offered a few different options for operating times and areas made available to our group.

5 stars! I will be telling others in my community that they are a great option for events similar to ours. We will be back!

We have been to the flapper lounge downstairs and enjoyed it but we will NEVER step foot in this place again after what we experienced on June 15th while mistakenly showing up to the Metro Hall. Now to be clear, we were in the wrong place as we thought the tickets were for a magic show there. There was a magic show there previously and a friend bought us tickets so we thought we were going to the right place. The way we were treated by the woman working the door was inexcusably rude. As soon as we shown up, there was already commotion with other guests trying to confirm their reservation. We stood there for 5 minutes while they tried to sort this out and then those people were rudely told to step aside and wait, they didn't look too impressed either. The tickets we had contained a QR code. The lady working the door scoffed at this and then told us we don't accept that, in an extremely rude tone. Then she asked for our membership. Well, we don't have one of course but we enquired the cost and then she told us it takes two days to process and just said "You can't come in without a membership. She treated us like some kind of third glass citizen. I've worked doors before and when something like this happens you at least look at the ticket and try to be helpful. Here's the deal, she was too lazy and just generally unhappy to be working the ticket desk that she didn't have that capacity. I don't know if she was a volunteer but I certainly hope nobody is paying her for that kind of job performance and if she is getting paid she should be FIRED.

We hosted our March wedding at the Metro, and it was an awesome experience from the first meeting. What a unique venue! We were looking for something 'all-inclusive' and what we received was beyond our expectations. Cassy was amazing, was continually easing my nerves, and we had SO MANY compliments from our guests about the wonderful staff, the good food, and the cool venue. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to the traditional.

I had my wedding there on September 28th and it was perfect! Heather was our planner and she did an amazing job, everything went so smoothly. She was very helpful at our rehearsal, had a lot of recommendations for our floor plans which worked out perfectly and just went above and beyond on the day of to make sure everything was going according to plan. The prices there are reasonable and all the staff I met were great. Would 10/10 recommend this venue!

Very unique venue, lounge-like atmosphere. We wanted something unique and different, and definitely got it. Young & friendly team was helpful. The caterers they use (Sugar Mountain) are the best wedding buffet food I have EVER had (seasoned wedding-goer, 25+ under my belt). Packages were flexible to suit your needs. Sometimes it took longer to get responses, but not often. The wedding planner that comes with your package does not do as much on the actual day of other than general clean-up like the rest of the staff, so be prepared for that, but they do help get everything organized leading up to it. One complaint guests had is that they forgot to put out the tea & coffee which came with our plan, so that was unfortunate. However, they did give is an extra free hour as part of our setup time, so that was considerate. The photobooth company they use (Dang Good Booths) were also pretty great! Overall, really good value and I would recommend.

Long story short: amazing venue for our 2022 Xmas Party.
Good: location, venue size, having it all to ourselves, theme, food, music, gambling crew, bartenders....
Meh: the caterers were REALLY late and forgot an item from the menu, which has since been rectified but honestly, the food was SO good.
Summary: I usually have to do this all myself so this was an absolute dream to have someone do it for me. I highly recommend any sort of occasion here as they have it down pat.
