Stayed with a friend this past week in Grand Bend . New Carlyle #202.
Pros:
Easy walk to beach
Many amenities
Clean
BBQ is great
Spacious

Cons.
Upon entering the ceiling is bare and you see vents and pipes.
Hole behind the front door ,and the laundry room door is cracked.
There were no top sheets on the beds? No extra blankets.
Furniture is 1 apartment size sofa and a not so comfy chair.
Be careful in the tub/shower. TUB IS SO SLIPPERY. No mat.
No dressers or closets.
The one bedroom has no windows? Fire risk?
Parking. We were told only 1 car allowed and given a #spot. ( We travelled in from different directions).
The spot had an old car in it, our entire stay. We advised we took another spot , this was approved. Then upon returning from outing, that spot was taken too. We were told to park anywhere.
Our second vehicle we were advised can be parked in a local parking lot. We received a ticket. $40. No offer to reimburse. Moving forward do not use city parking lots unless you're moving that vehicle everyday.
Bring all toiletries shampoo soap hair dryer etc .

It has the makings to be great as the location is wonderful.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Carlyle from July 13-17 in unit 300. It was our first time in Grand Bend, and staying at an Airbnb. We were not sure what to expect but once we got there we were reassured to know that the place looks exactly as pictured and described! It’s very modern, clean, and we were very pleased! Once we got there we were able to meet Mike who was extremely helpful the entirety of our trip. He was always very quick to be attentive to our needs and treated us like family, making us feel right at home. All 9 of us adults fit comfortably and we were very happy with our stay. Everything from the walk to the beach, the easy access to the main strip, and getting up to the room and accessing and returning the key was extremely easy! Would recommend this stay for any families looking to have a nice, relaxing stay in Grand Bend!

We got locked out of our booking 12 hours before check out. We only got one key fob too.
Luckily, 1 person who works here helped us out and we didn't get locked out for long. Used VRBO to book this and never use it again.

Checked in at 4:00. It’s currently 8pm why is the garbage still by our door? We could smell it from inside the room.
