Second Job Review - Task came out to Crestwood Curling Club recently to cut away some failed stucco. It was a challenging job on a very hot day. Though not their normal work, they made a fine job of it in less than half the time quoted. They very much over delivered for us on this call. Thanks to all involved.

Fist Job: Calvin and John offered me a great solution to standing water in my detached garage. In 30 minutes they had completed the work for the price quoted, and the water is now able to seep away into the sand under the slab. Highly recommend this company for your concrete cutting needs. I have enjoyed 25 years in the commercial construction industry and these guys are first rate in their field.

With a sinking front step that was becoming home to many species of wasps and hornets over the years,
a decision needed to be made on lifting and sealing the gaps of our step, or replacing and improving the
walkway to the front of our home. Based on a recommendation from my son, I was connected with
Calvin from Task Concrete. Calvin reached out to me by phone during the Social Distancing phase of
COVID-19 and talked with me regarding our options. Calvin committed to visiting our property and
provide some options for our review. With no personal interruption or disturbance, and in timely
manner, Calvin visited our property and provided us with options.
I will have to admit that I was concerned that my vision of a completed project may not be the same as
Calvin’s - as we didn’t even have the chance to meet in person during the Pandemic. Although we
discussed in detail over the phone, I could only hope that our visions would match. Upon review of the
quotations and our options, we proceeded with the replacement of our front slab and buildout of a new
walkway – fairly blind to the vision Task Concrete had for our project.
Task Concrete scheduled the dates and times with us. They showed up on time. They were properly
outfitted and respectful to us and our neighbors in this time of COVID. Their crew was professional and
dedicated. Their team worked together and completed the project on-time, within budget and truly
exceeded the vision that I wanted for a completed project. The crew minimally disturbed our yard, they
cleaned up all demolition and materials daily and truly left the property at the end of the project
enhanced and improved!
With my neighbors now enquiring on the fantastic finished project, as well as having been able to
observe the professional team at work, I have not hesitated to recommend Task Concrete for any
residential project. My wife and I are over-the-moon pleased with having chosen Task Concrete for our
project, and will continue to recommend to everyone!

Guys like to run drivers off the road. Idiot thought a signal meant he can do what he wants when hes right beside me and force his way in. Small scratch on my side door, not enough to bother with insurance but enough to leave this review. Don't use these guys, horrible on the roads, can't imagine they are much better with anything else

I hired Task Concrete to do some concrete cutting on our patio. It was a small job and many contractors had not been interested in taking it on. After Task Concrete finished the job, it became clear that it had not been done properly. They admitted to their mistakes, offered to waive the charges and still come back to complete the job. This required using an expensive tool so I was very grateful for their offer. When they left things looked good, but later I noticed that the concrete had still not been completely cut through. I contacted them again and they agreed to come back a third time. Finally, the job is done. It would be easy for me to leave a poor review but I know these things happen at every company, and I am very impressed with their integrity and commitment to the customer.

Always prompt with replies, answering our questions and helping us along the way to get our ducks in a row, when we were finally ready for them to cut our concrete to take our basement window to egress, the process was smooth and easy. After requesting quotes from several companies, we hired Task to demo and remove a concrete pad behind our house. Over the entire course of the job, I dealt with three employees - all were professional, polite and friendly. Being professional goes a long way in my opinion - if you don't have the time or capacity to communicate with your customers, how could you possibly provide quality services? Service was good and I would recommend their team to others.

My wife and I have done several property renovation projects over the years. Our regular concrete supplier did good work but was a poor communicator and could never commit to timelines or prices - it was very frustrating. We then found another supplier for the grade-beam and floor of our new garage but the work was of lower quality - the frustration continued. During this time, I had contacted Steve at Task to cut new windows into our existing basement foundation and I was extremely impressed with the whole experience - professional and timely communication, competitive prices, they showed up and completed the work on-time and on-budget. So when I was left in a last minute lurch yet again with my (no-longer) "regular" concrete guy, I called Steve to see if they did residential sidewalks and driveways. Although, not a market they traditionally worked in, Steve took the time to research the job and communicate and adjust his pricing so that Task became a very good solution to my dilemma. The guys Steve sent over were excellent!!! They introduced themselves upon arrival and reviewed what I was looking for in person. They made very, very good suggestions to improve what I had planned. I immediately developed a strong sense of trust in their experience and judgement, so I ended up just giving them my overall parameters and saying - "use your judgement and make it look nice". My wife and I are extremely please with the outcome. They did a lot of extra work as well that they didn't need to and never charged us for it. I highly recommend Task Concrete. I know I will use them again.

These guys were AMAZING! We called to get a quote, and they responded quickly and efficiently! We had a tough job for them, and they were able to schedule us in good time. The price was reasonable, much better than the competition. The job was done so well. All of our posts are level, in line, and look perfect. I can't believe how good it looks. Great job guys! 🙂
