I'd rate 0 stars if I could. Deposits, contracts, and verbal agreements mean absolutely nothing. They will go with wealthy investors over people simply trying to buy a property. Even after you've signed a purchase contract and put down a deposit. Don't agree to sign a purchase agreement unless it comes signed from their end first.

I was organizing a deal for a townhome preconstruction in the new Marquis area.

I immediately put a $1000 deposit on the unit to show I was serious. But I was working out of town and needed to wait until the evening to go over the options and extras to get a contract done up. By the time I get off work, I have an email saying they sold the unit to someone else.

They tell me there's another unit available and my deposit can be moved over. I say okay.

I'm told I have the weekend to go through the options and sign the purchase agreement as they don't review contracts until Monday.

I go through swiftly in my free time, select everything, talk extensively with the area manager, and sign the purchase agreement ; along with my realtor. Just waiting for them to sign Monday morning.

I wait all Monday and hear nothing. Only to get a text from my area manager telling me the office has sold my unit and the 3 attached to it to a single investor, and there's no more units left.

Absolutely useless company, actively against Canadians looking to buy homes.

I’m not very happy with Sidestreets design. This sidewalk leads directly from the street into our condo back yard. The police have already been called on numerous occasions for homeless and drug users hiding here. Now they will be able to bring in their shopping carts and stolen bikes. Why we need to expose this area to the public is beyond me.
