They are good until you move out and then they want to slap you with over $2000 in damages that was not caused by me , it is an old building and make sure you take pictures and videos of EVERYTHING(anything could cost you) yes even the tiniest chip on their crappy old doors. It is hard to get your damage deposit and they want to also charge over $500 cleaning fee for little things and say "the radiatior has to be taken apart and cleaned" and how did I know when it didnt say on cleaning list.

I spent a good day or 2 cleaning and it's still not enough. and they said " it will take me 8 hours to clean this apartment" really? for 800 sq ft apt? I did not get my damage deposit back and had to pay extra money and the manager was arguing with me to just pay it. Anytime, people move out they start renovating the apartments because they are scamming people out of their security deposit

Genuinely don't rent from them. No one gets a damage deposit back and they charge ridiculous amounts as a cleaning fee. Please do your research and look them up in facebook groups, many people have the same stories of VERY large bills after moving out. RTDRS has been involved with them many many times. If you choose to live here, do your due diligence when moving in. Take pictures of absolutely everything and mark in the walk through the tiniest of details, look at all baseboards, floors, and if things are dirty. Even when doing the move out walk through, the manager stated "Oh, the move out clean is really how we get people". That alone should let you know what kinda people you're dealing with. Ensure you are aware of the move out clean list as management tries to argue items as they are unaware of what the move out list entails. If you do rent from here, again cover yourself, take pictures, take videos etc. It will help with your fight in the end.

I am a single mom of a son and have lived in the St. Regis for 8 years ( since 2015) and moved out for my son's university. St. Regis is a very personal blessing to me as I have achieved many important things of my life in my unit. The entire staff of this building are extremely hard workers. The management team including head office pay close attention to the voice of the tenants. 'Nicole' ( the current apartment manager) is very professional and friendly. The buildings are kept clean and organize at all times by the amazing housekeeping team. ( manager's assistant, 'Tammy', works very hard and always looks happy) The maintenance team is devoted to their work.(especially 'Kim', who has excellent skills). Small pets are welcomed, and I have never had to worry about any security issues as a single mom. The neighbors respect each other, and each unit is renovated individually. I believe my unit is in the process of renovating now as well. I will definitely go back to the St, Regis when and if I can stay again in Hinton ( especially the same unit if possible). I am happy to share my experience with others 🙂

The apartments are spacious and basic. The basement suites are especially cool in the hot weather. The only complaint is that the shower temperature is usually difficult to control. Either cold or way to hot. Rarely can obtain warm. Have to take baths. Yuck.

I liked the building and the other tenants were friendly. The train is a little close and can be pretty noisy but I didn't mind. If that was the only issue then I would give more stars but Perla the onsite manager was absolutely horrible.
It took weeks to get anything fixed and when they finally did they wouldn't even give you notice before entering your apparent. They threatened to raise rent for everyone in the building because someone wasn't picking up after their pet, putting neighbours against eachother. The girl across the hall from me was told to fix her own toilet when it broke. I don't know what St. Regis was thinking when they hired her but she is very unprofessional.

Would give 0 stars if I could. They discriminate against dog breeds and I don't think any type of discrimination is okay. Especially in a country that welcomes everyone with open arms. Ashamed. Adding an edit after the reply from the business: You were fine with a large dog when I spoke on the phone until I mentioned pitbull. That is all.

Very nice place with friendly staff. Just make sure you follow the move out checklist to get your whole security deposit back. I would recommend the place to anyone
