I have been trying for TWO MONTHS now to have a district supervisor or above contact me to answer a question and a few concerns with where I am currently living. I have filled out a feedback form, waited then called and spoke to a representative who said I would hear from someone within 2 business days. I have now spoken with 3 separate customer service representatives and have still not received a call or an email back. They told me it's been pushed through and marked as urgent and still nothing back.
It's pretty off putting that I have had to turn to FB messenger chat and even leave a google review just to see if anyone would answer me!
I honestly believe we have been getting ignored at this point in time..... So many of our neighbour's are becoming equally as frustrated.
Communication skills for this business need major improvement.

I just had to say that living at 330 Talbot in St. Thomas has always been great. In fact this past month there have been numerous incidents that I just have to comment on. I had an old key that didn't work and Ashley in the office said "I give you a new one" (with a smile). Then my screen door of 10 plus years was stuck and when Andrew came up to look at it, he said "Oh it 's the wheels, they're stuck." Then he noticed a couple of the sides were warped and he said "I'll be back soon, you need a new door." Wow, the service is so good and Travis in the office always greets me with a smile as well. I wouldn't want their jobs but they are an amazing bunch and are very professional and good at their jobs. BIG LIKE.

They do not help at all. Their buildings are NOT smoke-free. They have inadequate resident and property managers. We have been reporting the smoking in the building for almost 3 years with nothing being done. Wr have all yhe evidence needed. A resident of this building had a fire on the patio which they didn't report which was from a cigarette being butted in a planter pot.
The supers and friends of the tenant said that the planted pot spontaneously combusted on a cooler day. But it was heared that the persons garbage bin caught fire on the patio. The resident manager believer the tale of Spontaneous combustion over a smoker butting in a pot which is 99.9% of the time the reason of patio fires!!!
This place is a very unhealthy, unstable living environment. We feel trapped and uncomfortable in a place we're paying to live in. We are so stressed and treated unfairly. Please stay away from these rentals unless you want to live in a rundown high-school.

Skyline living in brantford Ontario 15 sympatica cres. My parents moves there 3 years ago. Their health declined rapidly in the past 3 years. Management at Skyline said they helped mom and dad with their recycling, but every time I went to visit the recycling was piled up. As was some of their garbage. In the past 2 years Skyline has asked that mom and dad leave their apartment for spraying of coachroaches in the building. Dad being disable, paralyzed on one side, they struggled to honor the request. Then return to the apartment. This happened a couple times a year. Until last summer when I received a call from Skyline head office blaming my parents for bringing the coach roaches into the building. They asked for me to arrange for a cleaner on a regular basis or my parents would face eviction. I arranged for the cleaner as asked. The very next phone call that same person told me the building has been infested for years.
Fast forward to the last couple months of last year and this year so far. Mom and dad were hospitalized which I relayed to Dan the superintendent as well as Kyle McCann. Then my health took a turn. While I lay in hospital I got a call from Mr McCann , we discussed a move out procedure for mom and dad , being as they would not except 6 weeks notice to move out , we agreed it would be a midnight move type of thing. When I was able to get backbon my feet I went to the apartment to begin the clean out. When Dan noticed I was there he said we needed to chat. He tried to bully me and push me to back down and pay more rent. When I told him the last months rent paid will cover April, he asked about arrears, my parents like most other tenants were automatic withdrawal. Never missing a payment. Couple weeks ago I found a letter from Marlene Patterson stating that mom and dad owed $1887.22, their rent is more than that. These arrears are to be paid or face legal action. To date I have made multiple attempts to call Kyle McCann and Marlene Patterson, Kyle's voice-mail won't accept messages , Marlene has not bothered to call back.
Rewind a little bit. When I knew for certain mom and dad would never return to the apartment, I put coachroach traps down as well as pour borax powder bleach around the base boards. Left the windows wide open since last November as they can not control the heat and it got to 27 degrees in the apartment even with everything open.
To-date not 1 coach roach sighted in their apartment , but talking to other tenants, they have them in their homes.
I've documented everything and taken pictures and recorded conversations, I hope Skyline is ready for a fight, cause I'm ready to step up for my parents. I am power of attorney for them, so until Skyline produces documents of the arrears and how they did very little about the coachroaches, ill be filing for tribunal myself. Harassment, bullying, entering a unit without notice, failing to pay interest on last month's rent, that's just a start

If I could put 0 stars it would be. Do not rent with Skyline, they only care about profit and it will reflect on your experience with them. They've applied for above guideline rent increases every year I've been with them for things that shouldn't be on our rent like fixing the pool that their neglect broke and repairs that shouldn't require a permanent rent increase to pay off. The pool itself has been closed more months than not since it reopened which means we're paying for something we can't even access. And to top it off they take forever to respond to and seem to do next to nothing about complaints. I've had a husky that howls basically every morning and wakes up everyone around it, living above me for a year and a half now and they've done nothing that actually changes anything. Best I get is "we'll talk to the owners" but I'm pretty sure they don't have someone on staff that speaks the same language as them so it's been ineffective

My elderly parents applied to move into one of Skyline living apartments and in filling out the application we also had to give Skyline a security deposit bank draft of $1400. My parents were excepted but had to cancel because of personal reasons before the lease was signed. Skyline said they were eligible to get this deposit back but will not pay it. They keep saying that it’s in the mail and then after a month, say they will send out another cheque and totally are just screwing them along. This started back in Oct 2023 and as of the middle of Feb 2024 still have not received this money. The people are very friendly to talk to and the building was new and very nice but these people just won’t pay back until you escalate to small claims. This new building was only about 50% occupied so Skyline did not miss out on other potential renters. They are very dishonest and this is just plain theft! My dad is 84 he is a veteran on a fixed income and just tells me that Skyline is nice people and friendly to talk to but just don’t seem to want to pay me back my money. Thanks for reading!
I’ll update this review with any outcome
Feb 23, My father said that someone from Skyline called and is trying to figure out why he didn’t receive this cheque and are now saying they will send an e-transfer to his bank account… I have not responded to head office directly as I’m waiting to see if this last attempt actually happens….
Feb 24, Just spoke with mom and dad and they have received their deposit back. Very aggravating that it took this long and that I have to be such a pest and post this online…… Thanks

I was shown the apartment I was to be renting. Very well renovated.. When I was signing the lease, I was informed that my apartment was not available any longer. I was told there was an identical apartment in another building. I viewed the apartment which was not livable. I was told that all repairs would be made before moving in. I did not move in until 5 days passed my actual date to provide more time to renovate. Upon moving in there were no repairs done at all. 6 months later after numerous complaints, I'm still at stage 1. No repairs, no response

you can pay your rent in full every month WITH PROOF that its paid and they will still try to evict you for nonpayment of rent.. nevermind being assulted by property management and having a chemical sprayed in your face.
