Wonderful Company to deal with. So well organized in everything they do. Our sales associate Karen Kotchar was so helpful and gave us great advice concerning all of our options. She kept us up to date on the progress of the building of our new home. She was always available anytime we had questions or wanted to make small changes. She never kept us waiting for an answer, day or night. One of the most pleasant people I've ever dealt with and very professional. Suzanne Widas was also so helpful at the Shane Homes Design Center. It was so easy to put together an interior decorating plan with her professional guidance. We had a great array of choice as well in making our selections. We couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Shane Homes.

We were first time home buyers so many things were new to us. Karen made it super easy and helped put our minds at ease through out the whole process. When a ‘hiccup’ threatened to undo the entire process, Karen stepped in with adequate advice and referrals. What i am especially grateful about is that she did not make a sale and then leave us at the mercy of other departments. Karen took special care in answering questions promptly and pointing out resources when needed. The home looks amazing and the heating is very effective and efficient. I am so glad we went with Shane and if we do decide to buy again, we are sticking with them for sure!

Who said that Shane home is top of 5 builder in Calgary. It's insane.
They seemed like no responsibility at all even if it's still under warranty. It's leaking the washer coming through window... no response. Even other issue ....no response.... all their mistakes are all new home buyer's responsibility.
For two months with Shane home, I can't tell any good thought about Sane home builder. I don't want to give any stars at all.

My feedback is based SOLELY on my interactions with the Sales Manager, Karen Kotchar. We found Karen to be extremely professional and very diligent in the entire purchase/building process. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions in a timely manner. It was always a pleasure dealing with Karen and if there was an issue or concern she addressed them promptly. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone.

We’ve only had possession of our property for about 2 months and so far we have not yet had any issues that needed urgent attention. I agree that some “non-emergency” issues can be put off for a later date or post-COVID, however for “emergency” situations which should not be left to the discretion of the builder solely, it ought to be addressed immediately irregardless of covid19 as long as measures are in place to ensure the health and safety of all parties in the property.

Shane homes has being the worst experience that I have dealt with!!!!

Within 3 weeks of taking possession of my new home, it flooded!!!! Due to poor exterior installation, once it rain water coming in the house.

It took me hours of calling Shane homes before I got the chance to speak with someone and her name was Suzie.

Suzie was very rude and unprofessional on the phone..she told me it wasn't an emergency and due to COVID they won't be sending anyone into the home!!!! Like who does that? A brand new home and it's already flooded and flooring and baseboards are all damaged and I am being told to wait months for repairs!!!!! When they have guys working on the building beside us every day, going in on out.

Why do I need to wait months? Everytime it rains it comes in the house. Plus guys are working next door on the other building why can't the subcontractor just come and fix their mistake?

I was told I would get an email from you guys since last Friday today is Tuesday still nothing.

My question to them is why would they give you possession of your home during the peak COVID and then refuse to repair any damages due to COVID? When you guys was working on the building at the peak of covid-19 to meet the position date, If that be the case then they shouldn't have given me possession of my home.

Honestly I would not waste my money building with these builders as they don't care about their clients after you take possession of your home.

I personally would not recommend this company to anyone I know.
