As the owner of Nook & Cranny Home Inspections we have come across many contractors in the industry. When the hail storm hit our home in Aug 2024 my first call was to Brad. He was at our house the next day and discussed everything with my wife which gave her a sense of relief knowing everything could be repaired. Brad helped to facilitate the repairs with our insurer and the job was completed on schedule. I personally cannot recommend Brad, Lyla and the crew at our house enough. Job was kept very clean and all the crews were respectful. You should be able to leave 10 Stars as that is what they deserve.

For everyone dealing with the results of the storm last night, I had to hop on here to give far too belated kudos to Brad and the Second Gen team for how they helped us with our hail storm claim a few years back. Our insurance company initially offered to patch the holes on our siding and offered a settlement of 4k. What our insurance company failed to mention (that Brad informed us of) is that patching the holes would void the warranty on the siding. We also didn't know that the insurance company's job is to pay to return your property to its pre-storm state. They had discontinued the pattern on our siding, and the insurance company then offered to repair the back sections of our house with siding that would be a colour match but a noticeable pattern difference. Brad leaned on them and ultimately had them agree to rewrap our entire house. The insurance company said there was no damage to our roof which was not true and Brad had them come back and look again and lo and behold, there was the damage and they needed to replace our roof as well. He took a $4,000 offer and turned it into a nearly $40,000 settlement for us. He was absolutely incredible, it such a great experience from start to finish. Honestly can't recommend this company enough. Thankfully, we did not get hit by the storm last night, and the work that Brad and his team did years ago is still looking as good as the day they finish the work. Thank you Brad. We appreciate you so much.

We hired Second Generation Exteriors Contracting based on a review from a business associate, and also based on Brad's reputation in the community. We like to support local whenever possible, so even though the project was a recreational property outside of Airdrie, we preferred to hire someone from the community we call home.

Like most people our age, we have dealt with a fair number of contractors over the years, and the ones that we rate highly are few and far between. We are very particular as we have pride of ownership and have high standards regarding the work we pay for and the respect contractors have not only our homes, but for us as customers.
