The driver of the 3/4 of the night oct 9th left me at the bus stop with a bunch of groceries, the bus pulled up i was walking straight towards it two guys pointed to me and said that I was coming while I was by the back door jogging with a 24 of pop and big bag of catfood and a bag of frozen meat the driver closed the door and drove away I got him to stop a second later he wasn't at the corner . He said with a smile on his face sorry I cannot help you and drove off... my transfer ran out and I didn't have proper change and had to pay four bucks for the next ride cause the next driver wouldn't take the transfer . The 3/4 was only parked for 20ty seconds and people were pointing to me and the fact he was smiling is beyond unprofessional.

Absolutely the rudest driver ever.

Today I step into the bus number 9 (252) from bayside. The driver stopped the bus and I drop my ticket asking transfer ticket then he release the transfer ticket but he accelerate the bus very quickly at the same time even when I was just about to grab my transfer ticket. I nearly fell. And this is not the first time to me from this driver. He is rude to most of the passenger. This is not the true canadien culture as far as I heard. I hope the authority will take care of that issue

I want to sincerely thank Michelle Carter, the Manager of Sarnia Transit, for her kindness and personal support regarding my transit fare card today. She took the time to assist me herself, making sure everything was sorted out smoothly. It’s rare to see a manager go out of their way like that,it truly made me feel heard and valued as a customer. I hope Sarnia Transit continues to have dedicated and compassionate staff like her in the future.

Today I was just 2 seconds away from the bus door, clearly visible, but the driver still took off. I had to wait 40 minutes for the next one. What’s worse. I’ve seen drivers wait for others, but not for international students like us. My friends have had the same issue, doors closed right in their faces. While some drivers are friendly and respectful, a few are making the experience frustrating and unfair!

This is one thing of transit which is never on time and sometimes too early we always have to wait for like 45 mins for other bus. Its opposite of what it shows on google maps . They should surely increase the frequency of bus.

Sarnia Transit is by far the worst public transportation service I’ve ever used. The buses are always late—you can’t rely on the schedule at all. Sometimes, they don’t even show up, and there’s no communication to let riders know what’s happening. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re trying to get to work or an important appointment.

The condition of the buses is awful—dirty floors, torn seats, and it feels like they haven’t been maintained in years. The heating and air conditioning are either non-existent or don’t work properly, making the ride unbearable in extreme weather.

The drivers are often rude and unhelpful. When I asked about a route, I was met with a dismissive attitude and no clear answer. As someone who depends on public transit, I feel like Sarnia Transit just doesn’t care about its riders.

I frequently use the bus system and I understand changes but over the years the stops near the confederation town houses have either been removed or moved entirely making them less and less accessible for individuals in the area especially ones with disabilities, vanier was more convenient because of the access to a sidewalk and was closer to the lights and now the stop is at KFC further from the lights and puts more people at risk, and with the cold and all the ice on the ground makes it harder to catch the bus because the stops are never salted or shoveled. And what was the construction on the vanier stop for if your just gonna move it? This bus system is becoming more infuriating by the week.

Extremely ignorant bus driver on the 3/4 today
Give me trouble for my bus ticket because I bought it last year. Made me give him Two bus tickets and extremely rude with me. This is not the way you treat people and transit is stickler for their fair. If you’re even five cents short, they will You in the bus. The bus is supposed to be a safe place for all and that’s Transit always advertises, but that’s not the truth. The bus system is designed for international students, but not for the locals
