I don't get your services, but I do have a negative image due to your company’s trucks being parked on our small community’s residential streets, often for the entire duration of long weekends. This has repeatedly made it difficult for residents to access driveways, and snow removal services were unable to clear the streets properly—this winter, we experienced the worst snow removal service yet, largely due to your company truck being left unmoved in front of our houses.

This issue is not a one-time occurrence—it happens every weekend. Most recently, we’ve even noticed that another truck has been added. Our community is very small, and space is limited. If your employees do not have their own driveway or a designated space for these trucks, they should not be bringing them here. Leaving large commercial vehicles parked in front of homes for days at a time is inconsiderate and disruptive.

This behavior is generating a lot of negative attention, both in person and on our local community forums. The presence of these vehicles is reflecting poorly on your company’s image. If this continues, residents may have no choice but to pursue further actions such as reporting the vehicles.

We respectfully urge you to look into this matter and ensure that your company trucks are parked appropriately moving forward.

We needed to get our water service and waste (sewer) lines replaced, a common procedure required throughout HRM. I was not looking forward to the anticipated hassle but Sackville Trenching basically took the hassle out; anticipated my queries; got it done on schedule and on budget; and did all the necessary coordination with the city. It's not often that contractors reduce the hassle in your projects but that's what happened for us with this job done by ST.

STL needs to more carefully quote their work so people know what they are getting. A recent job where they were supposedly helping me out and saving me money ended up costing me ~$1700 extra when another contractor had to come and finish the job (after STL quoted an additional $3300 for the same additional work). Hindsight is 20/20 but I certainly wish I had just had the 2nd contractor do the whole job.

Terrible service. Engaged them to provide a quote to replace a lead water supply line. They visited the site, then after I called a few times looking for the quote they advised they wanted to view the inside of the home to complete the quote. Scheduled for them to come in, then after calling again looking for the quote they advised it was too complicated a job and would not quote it, or do the work.
