Called in advance to ensure that they had a compressor and hose acceptable for rent as I was traveling into town to perform work.

On arrival it was determined that they did not have a compatible adapter and they suggested I go to a hardware store to find a compatible adapter configuration.

Being I was only in town briefly I had no vehicle so I then had to take the compressor/hose to Home Hardware by cab. Found that there was no compatible fitting that solved the problem. They suggested I go to NIS. Did that and after I could not locate a suitable fitting I brought the equipment back to Ron's. The bleed valve on the compressor was unable to be fully closed by hand so it was leaking the entire time it was under pressure. Apparently during transit the rubber foot on one corner of the compressor had come off. This is a 1/2" nut and bolt system. There is no way a threaded bolt would have come off like that if it weren't already neglectfully left unscrewed near to the point that it was almost off before they gave it to me.

Long story short I brought the compressor back in under an hour after this wild goose chase I had to go on after confirming with them a week in advance they had the compressor and hose (with a variety of fittings presumably). The end result is them charging me 50% of the daily rental for the compressor despite the fact that it was never used and also charging me for the missing foot that came off their unmaintained equipment.

Be wary of renting from here. If anything happens to the equipment while in your possession even due to their own neglectful maintenance they absolutely will hold you responsible for it.

They are always there to help and have the best customer service I’ve experienced in Yellowknife.
Anything you need or want, they have it or can get it quickly.
Would definitely recommend then for all your rentals, tools and anything else you can think of.

These folks are the best! Great service, great products. I just used there Husqvarna professional cordless chainsaw. I cuts like a sword, is quiet, and doesn't make a lot of noise or smell up the place.
