This was the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I found this place online and chose it because of its proximity to my workplace. However, the entire building was infested with roaches, which I discovered while signing the lease. Shockingly, roaches crawled out of a cupboard in front of the property manager, who dismissed it, claiming the apartment had already been treated.

During my five-month stay, the apartment was treated for pests four times. The management entered my unit fifth time without prior notice or consent for additional treatments and later had the audacity to send a notice blaming me for the apartment not being ready for treatment. My spouse developed severe allergies, which resulted in two emergency hospital visits. We were forced to break the lease and move out as their condition worsened.

Despite providing more than a month’s notice and explaining our reasons for leaving, the management kept my deposit for moving out one month early. They also charged me a cleaning fee, even though the apartment was left in better condition than when we moved in. I regret not involving a health inspector during this ordeal.

Zero Stars. I found this apartment online while I was living in another province. Property manager had plenty of time to let me know there would be cockroaches but decided to wait until I had moved my entire family to alberta, stepped foot in the apartment, and was signing the papers. They probably wouldn't have even told us had my husband not found a roach in the kitchen drawer during paper signing.
We signed a three month lease and have not once used the kitchen to cook or eat in. It's revolting. Living off of paper plates and fridge food only. You couldn't pay me to put my dishes in those cupboards. We have sticky pads covered in roaches all over my floors in every corner. I have 2 kids and we hate it here.

I was NOT informed beforehand that BOTH buildings have a nasty cockroach infestation, which makes it ILLEGAL to rent the suites out but they are still renting them out. They put me in a until that hadn't been cleaned in YEARS with the other tenants hair on the bathroom walls. Which they then expected me to clean. The manager is alcoholic and the owners are well aware which in turn makes for a very uneasy situation when you're a single woman with children. Do you know how gross it is is to have sticky cockroach traps all over your floors when you have cats and kids and to have company... Nope!!! I don't want them to see that I have cockroaches!! Yes the Health Board is WELL AWARE of these buildings (that's who told me it's illegal to rent the suites out with cockroaches) and if you don't believe me, call before you decide to move in... I should have!! If you have any questions please reach out, I will tell you the truth. The manager/landlord will lie to your face while smelling like rum or whiskey with the shakes.

I'll rate two stars due to the cochroach infestation. I am sure it was dealt with, but this is my review and this place is not my cup of tea. Great building manager though, he earned the second star.

Manager don’t know how to behave and talk.
Lot of cockroaches in the building.
They increase rent without any notice.
