Colton, Scott and the crew were tasked with preparing our driveway for new asphalt, replacing the water supply pipe and adding 100 feet of drainage to our yard. They needed to tear out the old driveway, dig trenches, and attach existing house drainage.

The team certainly accomplished this project in an exceptional manner as they are all conscientious workers and there were no unnecessary work stoppages. All issues were dealt with professionally and promptly.

The guys communicated often to both my wife and I in a respectful, straightforward manner. We were always aware how the project was progressing.

The price was fair and we had no surprises. R&M would be our choice for future excavation projects.

We hired Colton to install a sump pump in our basement and are very pleased with the work performed. Due to our drainage and flooding problems (and indecisiveness!), Colton came to our property a number of times to assess the situation, do some camera work and provide quotes. He was transparent, always prompt with communication, and the quote contained thorough detail explaining each step involved. The sump pump was installed in 2 days by Colton and Wyatt and we are very pleased with the work performed. Would highly recommend.

We had Scott and team in to tackle a pretty major project in our backyard. The yard slopes pretty steeply away from our house and backs onto a forest, so access was tricky. We needed to remove the existing timber retaining walls that were failing, as well as the remains of a reasonably large cedar that we had had taken down, and various bushes and undergrowth.

After that they built 4 tiered Allan block walls (approximately 5' high each) that span the width of our yard, as well as all of the accompanying drainage and stairs to allow us to get all the way to the bottom of our property.

When you start a project like this, you go into it with a vision as to what you think the finished project might look like, and the team at R&M exceeded our expectations in every respect. Their work is beautiful and functional.

They were extremely professional, organized and supportive throughout the process. They kept us informed with any issues and were very conscious of our budget and our family's needs.
