I worked here back in 2023, I learned so much how the grades people use surveyors wooden lathe, shoot grade and how traditional earthworks happens.
I here by request a reference to my abilities and knowledge as well a reason why I was let go. In writing from my direct supervisors, especially Gezim.
I'm referencing the human rights code, as I'm still taking losses from missed job opportunities.
I liked the people I worked with and I felt some of them liked working with me, but the discrimination and less favorable treatment...
Cmon now, no white girls working as gradesperson, let alone indigenous girls or women in general. You can't assume we can't do the job without a fitness assessment! 🙂
I would return here anyway as long as fair treatment occurs!
Write me up a written reasons why I was let go as a gap in my resume causes me lost job opportunities to this day!

From the looks of things their good reviews are mostly their own employees boosting their rating. Pretty much how this company appears to operate. They don’t care about anything but them selfs. Living in tuxedo park, so far we have had our gas shut off because they have cut the line, and when I was talking to the city guy it looks like we nearly lost our water too. The project was supposed to be done I. The spring now we are nearly into fall. Blocking the street with their big trucks so residents can’t go home if fun. And now I get a notice on my door saying that they are going to be working 24 hours a day for 4 days shaking our house and making excavation noise. Not impressed at all.

Called 2 times within 1 month pertaining to lack of residential community respect of private properties! 1st call, a couple of weeks ago, a polite Gentleman was empathetic & not impressed with the lack of common sense nor neighborhood etiquette of the company drivers, apologized & stated he was going to ensure all staff be respectful of the residential communities they come into to work! Spoke to a Female HR representative today & she promptly disregarded our concern(s), became defensive, instead of apologizing, instead threatened us! Claiming we’re rude as we don’t want workers standing on OUR lawns while talking on their cell phones. Use the damn sidewalk & park legally/properly in residential neighborhoods. People LIVE in them! NB: absolutely 0 work being conducted for the City on the block, in fact not for 2 blocks either direction (West nor East) This Female HR thought our upset was rude? Unbelievable! Plus she said 1 thing in 1 breath & another thing the next breath (private vs public) & when challenged with the discrepency, depicting she has 0 idea, she decided to exhibit *aggression* vs professionalism & clarification! The present matter was concerning private NOT public property, which clearly depicts her lack of knowlege + exudes questionable integrity! HR behaving badly is unacceptable! No wonder Drivers lack respect for residents, their HR Dept lacks manners! Shameful! DO BETTER HR DEPT & DRIVERS! Use common sense, Be respectful & Express professionalism!

Pretty terrible company who can't seem to complete jobs properly or on time which then affects the entire neighbourhood. Confused as to how they continue to get contracts when the work is never completed correctly and they have to come back multiple times throughout the year to the same location.

Well I live inDidsbury,Ab and they have been doing road construction on 20th St for over a month and they close all roads going north and south without proper signage or you drive just about to end of street and you then see road closed. Last week they left sharp edges on the side of the asphalt they poured and every time you go to cross road you hit sharp edges with vehicle tires and i now have to replace my front tires due to them now being bulged from trying to get over sharp edge( they're not slanted they are like a square) who's going to pay for my tires when they cost over $250.00 a tire!DO NOT recommend them for nothing, they're rude and really slow all they do is stand around that I've seen very dissatisfied with the way they operate

Pertaining to the Canmore job site I'm concerned for the public safety.

Failure to accommodate for pedestrian traffic if a person with disabilities we're to try and navigate the intersection of bow valley trail and benchlands trail/railway they simply could not due to the massive drops in variation of surfaces.

Failure to notify vehicular traffic of ash fault being cut in a multitude of areas with no notifying signage. Also a lack of proper signage warning of road / lane closures in all directions of travel of the intersection.

From a safety stand point this is very unprofessional.

These guys drive like they own the road they speed and they don’t know what a stop sign means. I say they should re name the business

Worst group of excavators physical possibly. Only this they're good at is digging through gas and powerlines. Bunch of liars who never tell the truth.
