Christian and his team did an excellent job replacing our old wood deck with a new composite deck. As part of the job, they also replaced the gates at the front and back. It is obvious that Christian cares about the quality of the work and is very particular about how the work is done. Any time I contacted Prestige, either by phone or by email, I always received a prompt reply. I would not hesitate to recommend Prestige and would absolutely have them back to do any other work that needs done.

I gave 3 stars because the final product is 5 stars, but the way business was conducted is 1 star.

Honestly, the craftsmanship and the outcome is phenomenal. I can't say enough about that.
Christian is a nice enough guy, but the business is otherwise run rather poorly.

There was a tremendous lack of communication, consistency and poor planning of work schedule.

1. Regardless of not being able to plan the rain, we had to follow-up to find out when (if at all) our job would start. Our job was scheduled to start the week of May long and it was at least two weeks before they actually showed up. No email was sent to advise us that they would not be arriving on the original date until after I had sent an email to ensure I would be home in case they required my presence.
2. When they did finally show up, there was no notice that they were going to be there that day.
3. There were several nice days where work was not scheduled and no one showed up, but then they were scheduled on rainy days (clearly advised by the weather network), and therefore no work was done.
4. On one occasion they arrived on a Saturday at 715 am (our neighbors did not appreciate that) only to leave after completing 20% of the work they were supposed to get done and left after 1.5 hours.
5. The agreement up front is 50% paid before commencement of work and the remaining 50% once the job is completed. Suddenly, there was a rush for us to pay 90% of the final invoice on the job when the deck was maybe 80% complete.
6. There was leftover supply that was supposed to be picked up when the deck was completed. Two weeks later, it's still on our driveway.

Our deck was really behind schedule as it was supposed to start on the May long weekend and was completed on the July long weekend. Even when we were advised that they had no other jobs on the go, it was not worked on with any kind of consistency to get it done. Having a mud pit in the yard for a month was really frustrating.

So, would I recommend this company, yes and no. If none of the above bothers you and you only care about the finished product, then for sure, however I am certain there are companies that can do both.

Once again, I want to say that the completed product is really great and if they can get the rest sorted they will be excellent.

We had a ~350 sqft deck built off our back door, the craftsmanship of the work was excellent. The team did a wonderful job of seamlessly building around existing deck supports. Has turned our back yard into a much more useable space.

We had a composite deck built in August with Prestige and literally I can't say enough good things. Christian was amazing to work with from start to finish. Very friendly and always extremely responsive any time we had questions about anything. Our deck was slightly delayed due to the poor weather earlier in the summer (completely understandable, as it rained incessantly) We were advised of the delay up front and were given a new projected timeline, which they actually beat and then ended up finishing the deck earlier than anticipated. You can really tell that Christian cares about his work and his customers. His team was also professional and friendly any time I popped in to check on progress. As a side note, we are in a new construction area so it is extremely dusty, the deck is wet in the pictures because Christian was even kind enough to wash it off after work was complete. Would 100% recommend, we are so happy and absolutely love our deck!
