Ted's annual Permaculture Tour is also an incredible experience. I have attended five of them and still learn something new every year. Ted is knowledgeable and is excellent at passing on this knowledge in a way that is meaningful, easy to understand, and leaves one thirsting to learn more. Although I am already an advocate of Permaculture, attending the tours gives me a yearly boost to keep improving my own yard designed entirely with Permaculture principles. Attending the tours will be an experience of a lifetime that everyone should experience at least once (but, I recommend coming annually like I do).

Our family hired Ted to do a permaculture design for our yard and we couldn't be happier. He came over for a few consults, got to know us and made the design based on who we are and we were hoping to do. He mapped out an entire plan (pictured) and provided a binder full of guides and instructions.

He was happy to answer follow up questions and connect us with resources around Alberta.

Highly recommend if you're interested in permaculture and want to have a yard full of healthy nature and delicious food.

An outstanding mentor whose passion for permaculture shines through in everything he does. I took Ted's PDC. The course as a whole exceeded my expectations by bounds and leaps. Every class he made a palpable effort to not only present and explain the material, but to add interesting activities that kept the course engaging and insightful. He was also exceptionally approachable even outside of class, where he diligently answered all questions from both me and my peers both promptly and thoroughly. It was a great opportunity to network with like-minded aspiring permies all while learning from a tried and true designer. Professionals such as Ted are few and far between. Do jump at any opportunity to speak with the man--whether you're just interested in learning or if you need someone to design and implement a permaculture system from start to finish. I trust you'll find him every bit as agreeable as I did.

Attended an Urban permaculture tour with Ted of Prairie Sage Permaculture and Jeremy of Sunshine Earth Works. Wow! What an incredible day. We went to 4 different sites in Calgary and 2 in Cochrane. The diversity of the site designs, as well as the owners of the land, was truly outstanding.

One of the core tenants of Permaculture is observation before implementation, and this tour allowed me to witness drastically different takes on what can be down within and around Calgary.

Kudos to Ted and Jeremy. Thank you for your expertise, wisdom and humbleness. Truly great human beings and one's I am proud to have met.
