We built a home with Phelps about 6 years ago. The closing was delayed 3X and sadly our house was not fully finished by the time closing day arrived. I believe the company was experiencing some staffing issues at the time etc. The home itself was lovely and constructed very well. I must say that Phelps really does have some of the most beautiful home designs I’ve ever seen and I would definitely consider purchasing again provided things have improved with the company. I am very excited and happy to see some recent high ratings here. This is a great sign signalling that things have improved!

Moved in to our condo/townhouse about a month and a half ago. Very pleased with the workmanship by Phelps. There were a few items that needed to be finished and there are still a few outstanding minor issues [ex: our extended island overhang - but on order]. I have to commend the site supervisor [Joe] since anything that could be done right away, he and his team did so! Melissa Ward is excellent! Very professional and is quick to respond with whatever concern we had. Thank you Melissa, we appreciate you very much. Overall, my family's experience with Phelps Homes has been positive. 👍

We moved into the Phelps homes just recently and loved it immediately. The exterior is very appealing and we settled right into the new house. The house is spacious with good lighting. It's a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood with all the utilities available nearby. Melissa was very friendly and provided outstanding customer service. A very good place to live, especially if you have a family. Highly recommended!

Very impressed with Phelps Homes customer service. We just purchased a Phelps Home built in 2016 and have had a few questions in order to complete some renovations, such as extending the cabinets/counter tops in the kitchen. They were extremely helpful, responded within the same day, and provided me with direct contact information of the companies used. I wish all businesses were this professional and helpful.

Last year I bought two units from Phelps Himes Ltd. Both units were located neat Niagara Falls area. I was very happy with my agent and sales person Met. Both of them helped me. However, this year I sold both units without any road blocks and any issues what so ever. I ended up working with Melissa Ward (Customer Concierge). She was very helpful through out the whole process. She was very professional, Knowledgeable and more so responsive. Over all I had very good experience with whole Phelps Homes Ltd Team from start to end. Looking forward to working with them near future.

Phelps built us an okay house, but then proceeded to delay closing, usually within 1 day notice, even though it was very obvious that the house would not be ready. This happened about five times. Further, they proceeded to:
1) pressure us to close when the place was nowhere near finished, then continue to work past closing for many months intermittently
2) left us with multiple large deficiencies and proceeded to ghost communications
3) refuse to pay back grading deposit owed
4) conduct many very lengthy "walk-throughs" where their staff admitted there were many deficiencies and then do nothing about it
5) lots of staff turnover
6) leave many aspects unfinished/deficient a year later with no plan to fix them

Phelps has been disappointing on all fronts. They had some great employees, but the organization of our build was nothing short of appalling. I can't get ahold of anyone now to fix my problems. It will all have to be through Tarion insurance.

I do not recommend building with Phelps.

I am writing this letter as a humble note of appreciation for the outstanding customer care provided by Customer Concierge Melissa Ward. On Thursday March 25, I left a message on Phelps answering service regarding my ongoing, and often frustrating search for an official survey of my property. On Friday March 26, Melissa returned my call to gather additional information. On Monday, I received an email from Melissa with the survey attached. Not content to stop there, Melissa followed up with me to ensure that my requirements were met, and she proactively followed up on additional questions I had.
The great service I received from Melissa made me feel that Phelps care about developing a long-term relationship with their clients that means more than just making a sale. As well, my incredibly positive interaction with Melissa elevated my entire customer care journey, leaving a lasting impression that will resonate for a long time…. Many Thanks Melissa!

I purchase an end unit Condo Townhouse from this builders, We love the house and its real clean and everything we requested is there Finishes are totally very good, Spaceous rooms and basement. Only this Pandemic interrupt the interim closing. And Staff are awesome, They answer questions on time. Love Talking to Melissa Shes not only a great business person you can rely but awesome and friendly. But We close finally on time. I highly recommend Phelps Homes to every buyer who is looking for not very expensive homes in Niagara.
