Builds a great home, but they have two speeds when it comes to getting seasonal work done; slower and stop. I've never seen such slow seasonal work done and I've live in two new neighbourhoods. Been living in our home since March and it's end of August and we don't even have rough grading approval yet. Seems that we won't even be able to complete our landscaping this year due to Pacesetters slow moving seasonal department. You would think for a large builder they would have this figured out better, but they do not. All other builders in our neighbourhood has the rough grading completed for their homes, EXCEPT pacesetter. Continually requesting updates only to be told they have many homes they are looking after; maybe hire more people, that doesn't sound like a 'me' problem. The grading company is busy and they have contracted multiple contractors but still are very busy. Seems poorly managed or triaged. We did not get our rough grading completed until almost August because when they came to our area, the lot that they needed to use the dirt from was full of junk... I've never experienced such slow, low priority, poorly triaged management and work in my life. As of today, August 22, we are still waiting on parging (which according to the initial email that was sent, it should have been done before rough grading) and our rough grading completion/certification. They requested for us initially to no get AC installed until after all this work was complete. After the hot dry summer we had, I could not imagine not having AC. After applying pressure and asked pointed questions, I was told AC was acceptable before these tasks were completed. Needless to say, I’m shocked at the slow moving pace of Pacesetter; the only pace they set is SLOW, much slower than all other builders.
