From start to finish, I had an excellent experience with Okanagan Geothermal. As a participant in HomeZero's Pilot Project, I now have a ground-sourced heat pump that provides cooling during the summer and will heat the home in the winter, as well as an electric hot water tank and electric car charging unit. My home is now completely free of fossil fuels. I cannot recommend Okanagan Geothermal enough!!

I do not have a geothermal system but, we use this company for anything heating or air conditioning related... they do plumbing and electrical, too. They have a wonderful team from top to bottom, the crew is very knowledgeable, kept me informed on the situation, made me feel valued as a customer, always getting jobs done as fast as they can get someone to you, and they follow-up with any schedule changes (they give seniors priority when your heat or AC goes out in extreme cold / heat). I do not have a problem recommending Okanagan Geothermal as a company.

This company knows their stuff. We have called other companies who said they know geothermal and have no idea on what they are doing. The knowledge and experience showed right away. Water to water furnace quickly fixed and great advice on servicing. They are the only geothermal company we will ever use

Our Rinnai tankless failed, resulting in failure of the gas furnace to function.
Called OGT, who serviced the system in the past. They replaced parts, (most on warranty) and when the furnace still did not function properly, determined venting to be the issue. They billed me travel time, as well as mileage for each visit, sent a technician to the job with limited knowledge and billed me for every hour ( about 40 hrs) he spent trying to get the system working. Got the system limping along at a cost of $3200! OGT then said the entire system should be replaced at a cost of about $20,000.
I got rid of OGT, and had a local well established plumbing company install a new furnace, as well as a new air conditioner (which OGT did not include in their quote) for a fraction of the cost, and completed the job in 2 days. Strongly recommend not to use OGT

Very happy with the service provided by Okanagan Geothermal. We recently moved into a house with a geothermal unit that was extremely noisy. We contacted the installer to have it serviced and they said there was nothing that could be done and the noise was normal. At the recommendation of some of our neighbors, we contacted Okanagan Geothermal and they came out and recommended a noise isolating pad. They completed the install (which was challenging given limited access) for a reasonable cost and the sound reduction is huge! The crew doing the install were friendly and I was impressed they came up with a way to lift a fully installed unit!

Hands down the worst service. If you contract these guys and they assign Nick Croken hang up the phone and look else where.

I originally contracted them on April 28th requesting an in floor heating design for our greenhouse. I had asked if they would be able to provide a materials list ahead of the design so I could order that head of time, so I wouldn't have any delays waiting for materials. They confirmed that they could provide a materials list and the design would take four weeks. I provided their Engineer Nick Croken a design print of the greenhouse as well to assist him with the design at this time.

I contacted them on May 12th requesting the materials list they told me I would be given. At this point I was told that Nick couldn't give me the materials list until the design was done.

After sending multiple emails requesting the design I finally received it on June 20th three weeks late. Nick missed running the heating lines around the in ground sump tanks outlined on print. I asked for the design to be revised June 21. It is now July 14th and I still haven't received the revision from Nick. He is very quick to give excuses as to why its taking so long. We are going on ten weeks and Nick hasn't provided the final design that I was told I would have in four weeks.
