If i could rate them less than zero i would. Gerry is disrespectful, called me unflattering names and hung up on me. They do not involve or listen to me (the home owner). They show up and leave without notice anytime they like (7 am on a friday with a hackhammer). The work so far is unsatisfactory. They are disrespectful and unprofessional. They do not respond to communication and just do whatever they want. They left garbage and debris all over my yard for me to clean up. I am waiting for info about any warranty on workmanship because i lack confidence in their work. Do not hire these people.

We just got our dream Garage/Shop built by Northland Building Supplies and we are extremely pleased and it will be able to accommodate a hoist. We had our own design ideas and got quotes from other builders but it was NBS that we choose to work with because of their flexibility through all stages of the project. Their staff is experienced and very professional from the design and blueprint phase to the final finish. Our site manager, Brent, did an excellent job of scheduling and coordinating all of the various trades to get the job done, in spite of Edmonton’s extraordinarily wet summer weather.
We are very happy with our unique Garage/Shop which is over 800 sq. ft. and designed to fit our pie-shaped lot and it’s true that NBS builds a quality product at a great price.
NBS arranged the entire build and all of the trades were very skilled and did an excellent job. Since we had our own design ideas, we really appreciated that they allowed us to make minor adjustments along the way to improve on our final build.
We would definitely recommend Northland Building Supplies to anyone wanting to build a garage. They were extremely flexible and with all of their experience, they gave us great suggestions and design ideas.

We purchased a garage package from Northland last fall and were extremely happy with the quality of materials and the help from staff throughout the build. Brent and Robert at Northland were great and helped with everything from permits to planning and were always flexible in providing package modifications to make sure I ended up with the perfect garage package to fit my needs. The material was outstanding! The carpenter I hired to assist me with the build kept commenting on how strait the lumber was and it sure made keeping things plumb allot easier. Very happy with the package and help received by Northlands staff. Make sure to talk to Brent and Robert they will help design and supply a garage that meets your needs.

I had a great experience with Northland Building Supplies. I purchased vinyl siding, finishing pieces and shingles for my 8x12 shed. Sales Manager Nathan Uchacz was awesome to work with. I had a lot of questions and Nathan was quick to respond. Nathan helped me determine what materials I needed and how much. I think the value was great considering the price included delivery. Nathan was personable and I would highly recommend Northland Building Supplies for any garage/shed type projects you might have. Thanks Nathan!

There is a lot of staff turnover in the garage division. If you have an issue with anything supplied it seems to take a long time to get it rectified and the staff don't seem to value communicating with their customers very much. If I had to do it over I would try to find a different garage package supplier.

Northland Building Supplies built my garage this May. I received a 10% discount for an early Spring booking. The company offers to do the permit paperwork for Edmonton builds for a fee but I chose to do it myself. Part way through the process, I had difficulties and Brent helped me complete the forms. This was just the beginning of service that was much better than expected. I also wanted to switch the front door of my house to the garage and buy a new front. Brent sourced a front door for me and supplied a contractor to do the actual change. The garage went up quickly and without any concerns. To date, this has been the best service I have received since I moved to Edmonton. My house is a new build and I needed to work with a lot of companies and contractors to get the house and yard completed. I would highly recommend Northland Building Supplies.

Working with Northland Building Supplies was an absolute pleasure! I am a volunteer with a community league and our project was dependent on grant funding and board input. As such, the process can be a bit drawn out. Brent was amazingly patient and helpful throughout the entire process. He was accommodating and incredibly accessible for the entire duration of our project. I have worked with a lot of contractors and I would say that my experience with Northland is one of the best that I have had. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family!
