Our house is old, we needed a new shower in the main bathroom. I called an estimate, and one of the owners came to the house, looked at the bathroom, and asked me some questions. We agreed on his suggestion. He said give me few days and I will have an estimate for you. Well, a few days turned into 2 weeks, so I went to their showroom in Enbrun. I found that there are 2 owners, and one doesn't know what the other is doing!
I never did get an estimant, so we went with another company.

We originally met with Pascal in September 2021 to quote on a bathroom renovation for the following year. Pascal was prompt with his communication and listened to my ideas. Later that same year we decided to undergo a large home renovation and addition (converting a two car garage into livable space and adding on 1000+ square feet of new living space and garage). I had been following Pascal's work in the meantime and came across a couple of jobs he had completed. The quality of his work was top notch and we knew we wanted to have Pascal quote on the work.

With a job this size and given the climate at the time with supply and trade constraints we ran into a couple of issues. The attention and solutions provided is what really sets Pascal and his team apart. Problems, little or big will happen during a project. Having a team that knows how to handle stressful situations is so important.

The Team, particularly Andrew, Marc, Nico and Troy are SO WONDERFUL to work with. The timing of our project coincided with the birth of our second child and the team was so incredibly respectful of having a newborn around and how that impacted my availability at times.

Without hesitation I would hire Pascal and his team time and time again. He is literally the first call whenever I am in need of a contractor.

Pascal, I can't thank you and your team enough for bringing our vision to life and creating a beautiful space for our family!

We contracted Next Level for a bathroom update, flooring replacement, first-floor painting, and light rewiring. We supplied all the paint, all the flooring, the tub and vanity and the light fixtures. The project was scheduled for two weeks but extended beyond three. The work was sloppy as there was no foreman to oversee the work. The tub and stove hood we purchased were both damaged by a worker, necessitating delays finding replacements.With no foreman the daily cleanup was left to us. Several items on the estimate were cancelled but the our charges were not subtracted from our bill. Our frustration grew to the point where we wanted them out of the house. When the foreman returned from vacation and looked over the work done, he was not happy. He returned with workers to fix some of the glaring faults. Sadly he no longer works for this company. We still question ourselves: was it worth the $23,000?
We had agreed earlier to having the exterior work on a second quote. Our front steps, which were sagging due to the previous homeowner's failure to install proper footings needed to be repaired. We agreed to a quote and paid Next Level $1,900.00 plus HST for the job last October. The work done did not meet our expectations or REPAIR the problem A worker merely chipped out and filled a crack, then applied a thin coat of cement parging, COSMETIC work only, in a full of coffee breaks, eight hours. I envy such earnings, almost $300 an hour. After only six months, the stairs continue to sag, the crack is getting bigger and the cheap parging is falling/chipping off. Despite repeated attempts, we have been unable to get a response from the owner.
Pascal, we heard you have done some good work, what happened on this job? Are you comfortable knowing this, we are not. We feel we were grossly overcharged for the work and would not recommend Next Level, and in fact, dissuade people from engaging Next Level for any type of renovation work as it may not come out as planned or as quoted.

I hired Pascal Dupuis for a $60 000 remodel. The job was permitted by City of Ottawa. The permit failed inspection due to unlicensed, unqualified, inexperienced trades people that were hired by Next Level. Pascal did not care that the inspection failed, he just wanted to be paid. This was 6 months ago. In order to pass inspection, I need to hire another plumber and contractor to open things up again to fix the errors that were made by Next Level.

Consumers Beware. Do your homework. Ask to see qualifications and licenses before letting this company into your home.
