I recently reached out to Gord to have a dish installed (new customer). A date was set and two installers showed up. All my questions were answered and the installation was quick and seem-less. I would highly recommend Muskoka Starlink.

I am truly disappointed with my experience with this company. Last year, I had them install Starlink at our cottage just before the summer. The installation cost upwards of $1400, and everything worked great until recently when some of our smart devices stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi. I reached out to Gord, the owner, asking for assistance in resolving the issue. Despite it being less than a year since installation, I was charged for the service, but I was willing to accept that, as nothing is free.

A technician came out to fix the problem and charged me over $300. While the cost seemed high, I understood the rural location and was willing to pay as long as I was getting a premium service. However, just a few days later, the same issue resurfaced, with the same devices failing to connect. I contacted Gord again, and he assured me he would speak with the technician and get back to me. After a few days of no communication, I followed up only to be told that he had forgotten to reach out to the technician. Once he finally did, he informed me that any further visits would incur the same $300 charge.

When I expressed that this felt unfair and unethical, given that the initial job was never completed, Gord provided a series of excuses: "The dish and router are faulty," "Too many devices are connected," and "You should probably call Starlink directly." After going back and fourth with him, the following morning I received a refund via e-transfer, along with a text message stating, "I don't think we'll be able to help you in the future. You need to find someone else to look after it for you."

While Muskoka Starlink can set up the hardware for you if you're unable to do it yourself, it’s clear that Gord does not take accountability for his or his technicians work. I would be very careful dealing with them.

I’m giving two stars solely for the excellent service provided by the two technicians during the original installation. They were professional, efficient, and truly made the experience worthwhile. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Gord can be summarized with a few words. Greedy and unqualified.

I would like to be clear that there was a lot of back and forth before Gord did the right thing and gave me a refund. So he did not choose to give me a refund. He recommended to find another installer because he didn’t know to how to fix the problem and was fighting with me to keep the money and charge me more to come a second time. Again, Gord, you’re greedy and unqualified.

We have had Expressview for many years and for the past, at least 7 years, we have had interrupted receptions on both satellites, often; especially when windy, raining or snowing.
So frustrating!!!
Servicemen from Bell have been here many times, moved the dish, new receiver and other parts. Finally told us they could not find anyplace on our property where they could put our dish.

Called Gord later last Friday. He said if they couldn’t help us there would no charge.
They came on the Monday.
Gord was very pleasant and knowledgeable as well as the technician.
The technician almost immediately found a place with very strong signals
Installed the dish and reconnected the wires and checked each of our TVs.
Very efficient, honest, friendly and got the job done quickly.
Highly recommend them.

A seamless install by a team of professional, efficient, experienced and knowledgeable staff. We were kept informed during all steps of the install as it was being completed. This included information on where our satellite was being installed, and exactly why that location was chosen.
The team ensured we had all the information required to complete the consumer registration portion, and happily answered any questions we had.
An amazing experience with this group of dedicated professionals that we would highly recommend to anyone thinking of having starlink installed.

Gord and his team were excellent to work with during our Starlink installation. I was really impressed by their prompt replies when I had questions, their punctuality for the installation appointment, and the cleanliness of their work. Everything was very professional and exactly what I expect from a top-notch professional contractor. Prior to our installation, they even took the time walk to me through the various Starlink hardware options you can order which helped me avoid ordering unnecessary items so we got only what we needed. They made the whole process easy and the internet is spectacular compared the our old Bell DSL we had here in Haliburton. Consistent 130-150mbps download and 10-20mbps upload. Our latency has been excellent as well at 40-80ms (I rarely see higher than that). Huge thanks to Muskoka Starlink for their help and I absolutely recommend them!

Just had them out to my property after receiving an extremely high quote of $1700.00! Thought ok, rural area, etc, etc.

They did the install and ran the wire through an aux door which I can not longer close allowing bugs and rodents into the trailer. $350 for a “tower” which was a piece of $23.00 chain link pipe.

They suggested some kind of extenders; didn’t mention they were extra or very expensive.

Got my invoice today- I thought $1700.00 was high— $3000.00 to have internet installed!!
Oh and to add they had they petty nerve to charge me an additional $50.00 gas tax!!!

Having scouted the location the team previously were very efficient at installing a mast mounted system as the area has many trees. The signal is strong and easily supports WFH.

Tom the technician were so helpful and gave me a few suggestions.We did get a resolution.
