I would recommend Momentum to anyone looking to purchase a new build condo! As a first time condo/home buyer, to say that I had a lot of questions would be an understatement - thankfully Nicole and Martha were incredibly patient and provided timely responses to all of my inquiries. The process of choosing finishes for the condo seemed so daunting, but the Momentum team guided me through the process and made it approachable and fun! I have been in my condo for over a year now and am still impressed with how well everything came together! I am also happy to say that any deficiencies have been fixed to my satisfaction.
If I am looking for another condo to live or invest in the future, Momentum Developments will be top of my list.

I’ve been working closely with their team throughout the warranty period my new condo and have had a great experience. The condo I received is beautiful and if I have questions, Nicole and Martha are a pleasure to communicate with! I get timely responses and they follow through on their timelines/what they’ve stated will get done.
I saw that someone was concerned about parking but I haven’t had any issues! I like the new security features and I never have problems finding a spot. I liked being able to choose if I wanted parking or not and I thought the price was very reasonable.

After 4 months of little to no visitor parking (and not following legal guidelines of 0.2 visitor spots per suite door) Momentum finally got a solution. Implementing paid parking rates from $2.50/30 minutes - up to $30/day! Oh, but it's not ready yet... even though signs are posted & emails went out & people have paid for parking. Even those who have a residents' parking pass come home to see DOZENS of vehicles in the lane because the garage door jams and leaves residents stuck in or outside for SEVERAL HOURS. But don't call the after hours line (or any contact they give you) because they won't answer. If you confront them, they simply say ParkCo owns the garage and they have nothing to do with it and since they don't get the revenue directly for parking, they don't care about residents being locked out of their parkade. Nice service indeed.
But don't email them about it, because you won't hear back from Momentum (Martha and Brian) and Kathy - the building manager. Instead, they'll ignore you & take down reviews & line their pockets.

My experience with Momentum Development has been nothing short of exceptional. From the initial stages of finding the right unit, to the final closing, every aspect of their service, product and communication has exceeded my expectations. I have been so happy with my condo, that over the years, I have purchased more than one unit with this developer.
The staff consistently went above and beyond to understand my needs and preferences, guiding me through the various options available. They patiently answered all my questions and concerns including parking and storage concerns. I felt confident and informed throughout the entire process. Great company!

Update: Momentum made buying the condo easy but there have been major issues with the complete project.
1. Promised low condo fees and a geothermal heating system that would keep condo fees low. Instead the entire winter we had to use natural gas and our condo fees rose to almost double in one year.
2. Promised soft water but the system has been broken the entire 2 years it's been occupied.
3. Garage doors either stuck open or stuck closed. People's car windows have been smashed.
4. Shared spaces were ignored. Momentum should have had people walking through to make sure the shared spaces were up to the quality they sold us but door stops were not installed in some places (with holes now in the walls from door handles). Faulty glass was for some reason replaced on the 5th floor of the building but left in place on the other floors.
Original: As a first time home purchaser, I had tons of anxiety and even more questions. Both Martha and Nicole were both extremely patient with me and quick to answer all of my sometimes neurotic questions.
I would recommend Momentum Developments to anyone, if they weren't so professional and responsive I would have been fretting about things but they made me feel 100% taken care of. Would give more stars if I could 🙂

No idea who would give this builder more than 1 star. I’ve Never had anything but issues with units and buildings by this developer. Still dealing with issues from 2017. Not to mention the issues and money making schemes they cause owners with parking changes on a regular basis. Save your money and sanity and AVOID this company.

Bought a new condo in kitchener from Momentum Deveiopments in 2019. We took possession in the spring of 2022. Momentum does not stand behind there product and the workmanship is shabby.
The concrete slab in my kitchen was out 1 1/8" over 8ft. (Out of tolerance) the fridge could not stand straight so we had to put shims under it. They tried to fix the floor twice and they damaged my counter top and laminate flooring.
Momentum offered $1000 as compensation. I got estimates to fix it and we are around $30000, Now we have to take them to court.
Beware of the developers an builders when purchasing new.
Yes we went through tarion but this is damage caused during repairs to a common élément.
