Pires expérience de ma vie avec un contracteur. Crois savoir tout, il pense qu'il est le meilleur sur sa machine mais très dangereux!!! ( Il a poussé son employé avec sa machine devant moi et passer proche de l'acccher a plusieurs reprises ) A fait pipi juste à côté de ma balancelle où on s'assoit. Il a même poussé ma tiny home sans même venir me le dire ou s'excuser. En terminant de mettre la terre à la fin, il a percuté le dessus de la fosse septique alors maintenant ce n'est plus au niveau. Il a detuit mon asphalte a plusieurs place. Je ne recommande vivement PAS cette personne pour vous aider. En plus, à notre première rencontre il nous a raconté des histoires qui s'étaient mal passé... ça aurait dû me mettre la puce à l'oreille! Ça fait un mois que c'est terminé, je voulais décompresser avant de faire mon commentaire. Trouvez quelqu'un d'autre ou vendez votre maison!! Bonne journée!

I had a failed septic leaching field and called Mike Stairs to come take a look. He investigated the issue and provided me with a detailed explanation of the cause and how to remedy it. During the repair he kept me well informed on the progress. His subject knowledge is second to none and most importantly he was very mindful with-respect-to a family health situation to make sure a safe environment was kept for everyone. I'm pleased with the repair and highly recommend Mike Stairs to anyone in need of septic repair services.

We had a leeching sewer bed that had been installed 17 years previous and needed to be repaired. Not knowing who to contact, I called the previous installer and he recommended Mr Stairs. In my opinion, that was a pretty good recommendation. Our soil is not the best so it required additional sand to be brought in. He took me through the entire process and what had to be done each and every step of the way. His "estimate of cost" from the beginning was within the acceptable tolerance of 10% so I was very happy. I added additional components (filter, distribution box, inspection caps and ground lever risers) that the previous installer didn't install or weren't available years ago. Had I not asked for the additional upgrade, I'm sure the estimate would have been even more accurate. I completely recommend Mr Stairs as a professional who is unwilling to accept sub par work. If you want it done right the first time I believe he is the first person to call.

I can’t believe the extremes in reviews for this contractor. First of all, let me warn you that if you want a fly by night contractor that will bend or break provincial rules for waste water to keep the price down, Mr Stairs is not your man. He will not deviate from provincial government regulations for sewer system installation or the premium materials he uses during installation. These founding pillars result in higher costs. Things have changed since we punched holes in a 45 gal drum and called it a sewer system. Sadly there are still people who believe this still an option.
I had our sewer system replaced this summer due to system backing up and I can honestly tell you that I got a system that will be working flawlessly for many years to come. The system I had installed, wasn’t cheap but it is exactly what I need and it exactly conforms to all provincial regulations.
I know this is kind of drawn out but I thought it was my responsibility to comment on Mr Stairs’ professionalism after reading some of the unkind reviews.
Think of this way, if you want it done right, call Mr Stairs. If you want a shady un-conforming system don’t call Mr Stairs.

Untrustworthy, dishonest, service the worst imaginable. He increases his quote after the fact and then proceeds to increase it again by 30% asking for it in USD. Because I live in US! Then he responds to an email with an ultimatum, to a prospective customer ready to spend $20k+-. No one should use someone like this, there are many other more worthy businesses to give your project and your hard earned money to. Find someone who appreciates the opportunity not someone who thinks they are doing you a favor.

My tank alert was going off so I called to see if Mike could help. After a lengthy and knowledgeable explanation he came out to check it out for me late on a Friday afternoon. He was very professional and kind explaining things to me and making sure I understood. I will definitely call him for any future septic issues.

mike replaced septic tank and installed a treatment plant and flushed 12 lines in septic field and extended the lines. this happened last fall november and december 2018.he came back in may 2019 and did topsoil and gave me advice and the proper fertilizer and grass seed to buy.very hard worker and always stayed in contact for inspections.very dedicated to doing the work and doing it right and satisftying the customer.i highly recommend him.if anybody that would like to see his work,we are at 21christopher drive burton
