The Aurora community in Walker has been asking for Melcor to complete the development of our neighborhood for many years. They had indicated in 2018 that they would not be able to finish the landscaping along 25 Avenue SW between 66 Street & Watt Blvd. until next spring (2019). 2019 passed by with more emails asking about finishing with trees and shrubs to enhance the area and again, more excuses by Melcor. 2020 came and once again, more excuses now with Covid-19. More emails asking about finishing.

Last email to Melcor receiving this reply: We have work upcoming to start sod and seeding in the area, which will include weeding the area. Shrubs and trees have been pushed back to 2021. We were hoping to get this done this year, but unfortunately it was not. We appreciate your patience with it.

It's now October 13 and the various noxious weeds (as you can see in the photos) has not started as well as the seeding AND we now have to wait until next year, if we're lucky, to beg once again for some well deserved landscaping. This is how Melcor operates. Look how lovely the outskirts of our neighborhood looks like to potential residents of Aurora! They start the development project and leave the job unfinished - boy did we ever get kicked to the curb on this one!

I'll tell all my friends or anyone who asks how a Melcor community is. It's bad and their HOA is terrible. Not too mention Triona treats you sub human even after she moved departments.

I would say avoid this company at any cost for your better future. I would write 0 star If I had option to do so. Worst company for leasing commercial space in Edmonton/Leduc
Nobody wants to work in the company and everyone has answers for their excuses and Nobody has answer for real questions. They mention "Cant Comment" on important questions about the melcor policies. Management is going down and quality is getting worst over the time. It is difficult to do business or lease commercial property. It is even way more difficult after leasing. I would say avoid this company at any cost for your better future.

Here it is today October 13, 2020 and Melcor is finally cutting down the toxic weeds in Aurora Development that they promised to actually finish landscaping with grass and trees the last 5 years....instead they been allowing weeds to grow and spread into homeowners lawns every year and only after numerous complaints. First telling us there landscaping soon every year then at the end of the season just cut the weeds while all the other developers who have come later have completed there developments.....Not a top developer anymore they sell you then leave you done. What a Shame!

MELCOR IF IF YOU HIRE SOMEONE PLS TELL HER/him what’s the job responsibility and how to talk with customers. I feel that I am a criminal. I am also a tax payer and the fee I pay you it’s goes to your salary too.
