This is a great spot for a family vacation in Wasaga beach! ⛱️☀️😎 McFadden Cottages are a family run resort in a fantastic location, walking distance to the main beach and all amenities, shops, entertainment, etc. Well maintained grounds and cottages with a private beach, plus some nice extras for the little ones (playground, badminton net, dock for fishing and water slide). Hosts are very welcoming and truly care to make your stay a relaxing one. This is the main reason our family returns year after year.

Anyone who wants a place to chill in Wasaga Beach, this is the place to go!

The host is fantastic, plus you have your own private beach across the street with a dock and a slide!

It's in a great location!

There is parking, light local traffic, and McFadden Cottages are within walking distance of banks and groceries.

The cottages and property are thoughtfully and meticulously cared for, and the owners/managers are truly there to help make your stay as worry-free as possible.

Kitchens are self contained and the basic needs are very well covered.

Family pets are welcome - something that is important to me.

Oh, it's a short walk to the bridge across the river and Beach Area 1.

We travelled with our two kids, ages 4 and 9, and had a fantastic week! There is a playground in the back, badminton net, bonfire area, and a fantastic BBQ area. The grounds are meticulously maintained. ||There is also a private beach along the river with new sand, volleyball net, a great dock and fun slide. It was fun to just spend the day at the river. ||Our cottage (#8) was clean and fully stocked. The linens were so nice and soft. The mattresses were very comfortable including the pullout sofa!We had the best sleep!||Shawn and his family were gracious hosts. It really felt like you were visiting family. They made our stay extra special!||McFadden cottages are a true gem in the heart of Wasaga!

Coming here for over 30 years. Although the city has changed drastically ever since the old strip was burn to the ground, unfortunately. However, my daughter loves it and the cottage ground are lovely and there is a private beach right across the street if you don't feel like packing up and going to the provincial parks beach area. Also, the owners are really nice and have kept it in the family since the 50's. Love it

Every year we go with family and friends. This year we rented 5 cottages. The staff is super friendly and the cottages are fairly tidy. Bring fans though! They have a private beach across the street with a new dock, slide and boat ramp. There is a big tree for shade and chairs. It is great for when you do not feel like going to the main beach (which is a 5 minute walk away).||Bev even has a washer and dryer in case you need to freshen up your bathing suits and towels. ||Each night everyone gathers around a big fore and gets to know one another. There is a big park in the back with lots of sand for kids to play and a horseshoe pit. A great place to make great memories!

Fantastic time with the family and dog. Lots of stuff for the kids to do like a private beach with a water slide, dock for fishing, park in the back, badminton and volleyball. plus a great spot for campfires and watching the stars at night. Definitely recommend this place and we'll be coming back.

Have been coming to McFadden's Cottages for 51 years straight with my family. Rent most of the 12 cottages. Great, friendly family run business who care about their guests. They DO take walk ins but are usually booked up because they are so good. Can completely recommend McFadden's Cottages. You won't be disappointed!!!!
