I ordered online today and 15 mins later I hear the beeping of MacGillivray Fuels truck backing in my yard. Service couldn't possibly be better than that. Ronnie's always fantastic with getting oil to us. If his day is booked, he'll get us on his way home. Thank you for consistently great service!

We've had services from MacGillivray Fuels for 4 years now and have always had great service. There was a miscommunication recently where they weren't getting back to me on a query I had but when they heard about the problem I was having (not from me directly) they reached out to me directly and did everything they could to make it right. I was very impressed with the level of customer service. They heard about the problem and the manager called me and was at my house in an hour, it was unbelievable

Was initially impressed when I first went in I was told they would fit me in to get my wood furnace set up within a week. I was upfront that I wanted to switch from oil to my wood furnace and would be looking to purchase a heat pump in the near future, and they seemed very helpful with that. After three weeks they still hadn't called so I went back in. This time they said I needed to be registered with them and they tried to loop me into a service agreement with oil, and when I reminded them I didn't want to continue with oil, I was told I should look elsewhere, that since I was not planning to continue oil they didn't want to help me with my wood furnace. Also on the second trip, they tried to steer me away from a heat pump. Very annoyed. Probably great for oil customers but wouldn't be a first choice for alternative options. Clearly a two tiered service: oil customers come first.

Follow up was terrible between office staff and technicians.Being as this is a secondary home, follow up of what had been done should have happened. Heard back from manager today which was very much appreciated and after looking at information provided, I feel there are still slight descrepancies In the time lines but because I wasn’t provided any paperwork, I do not have much to go on. I hope this won’t happen again or we will have to look elsewhere for services. Overall, not that happy with this experience had here so hopefully next time will be better. I think they could have did better!

By chance, I stumbled on these reviews and saw a few negative reviews. I have no idea what they are talking about. My switch from Superior was smooth and effortless. AND I am paying less for propane. I Intalled a new propane stove with their technicians and it was on time and efficiently and professionally done. No issues with delivery of propane either. Their phone app is convenient. I am a "fussy" consumer and I rate thes folks at 5 stars

Company failed to respond to numerous requests for a quote on a new oil tank. Had to call New Glasgow office to obtain any type of customer service....when quote was finally received (had to call again to get the price) they were OVER $600 more expensive then BlueWave.....questioned why the inflated price....."oh we will match the competitor" REALLY?
