Went to the "Bucket of love" Valentines Live Music event at local losers art studio. It was a blast! Had so much fun! The venue was cosy with some very interesting pieces of art. Great space for live music! Such a treat to have a venue like this in Vernon.
The venue host was super charming and helpful. Staff serving drinks were very friendly and cheerful. On set was Brent Applegath, Jeff Saunders and Rob McLaren. The line up of artists was an odd mix however it was absolutely magical to witness their cohesiveness and watch them improv and co-create AMAZING music. Sharing their own and some creative twists of covers. They had the audience singing along, clapping and at some point in tears with the soulful and deep music. Highly recommend going to Local Losers if you're in the area and they're putting on an event! Kudos to the owners for providing an amazing space for creative outlet!

We stopped in to Local Losers today, it was their grand opening!!! Its an Art shop and gallery space to empower young people to come in and create art and sell it. They sell art supplies, we spoke with the owners Noah and Sarah, they are super passionate about local art. Go in and check it out. We bought a piece of art that spoke to us.

Very good vibes every time I come here. Noah is always very friendly and so are the strangers I meet inside. Lots of treasures to be found here, especially this little guy from @the_gluttonous_rat. It’s a great spot to do art and the events here are always dope.

This place makes me feel so welcomed. Like it gives me this overwhelming feeling that I can go there and completely be myself and express myself. It's incredible, and I honestly wish I could go there every day (sadly I live in Nanaimo bc so I can't)

Local losers is a super cool place to find art supplies and support a locally owned business. Very in cool art installations! And to top it all off they also occasionally hold events!!

Honesty one of the best art supply store in town, as well a beautiful studio space for artists who want to be around other artists.
Noah (the owner, the man, the myth, the legend) is one of the kindest person I've encountered, don't be fooled by his art!

20/10 would recommend to any person who is looking to get high quality supplies and to just have a fun time 🙂

Love Noah and this store and its vibe. Great place to pick up art supplies, chat about art and meet people who enjoy creating it. LL is a welcoming space for all who love to imagine, create, inspire and share. Thank you for breaking down the barriers for those who think art is just for those who have formal art education and/or who are ridiculously talented. I love this spot! Reasonably priced supplies for a variety of mediums (and Noah also does special requests if you ask nicely!), local art/treats, some really cool LoLo’s merchandise, and lots of clubs/events! Local Losers has become a community gathering space for artists, musicians, and athletes alike! I ONLY wish they stocked some sort of plant-based protein drink for those days I’m running late to bike club 🙂
