I had a great experience with Lety Construction installing weeping tile, insulation, and other waterproofing measures on the exterior of my house foundation. From the initial consult with Wes I felt he was straight forward and explained the process well. Rachelle was very helpful from an administrative side when booking the repairs. Jeff and the crew were very friendly and worked hard, even in very harsh temperatures. It was a big project, and they really gained my trust through their honesty, and thoroughness with any questions. Highly recommend them!

I first met Wes at the Edmonton home show and right from the first meeting at the show Lety felt like a great fit. Wes answered many of my questions but put no pressure on me to sign up for the job until the timing was right.

The office and crew were fantastic. I had some financial challenges to work through at the time, but due to the quickly approaching winter season, the timing was right to start the project. Rachelle and the office crew helped me figure out what was required and offered flexible payment options and great advice, again with no pressure to work with them until I was comfortable with the process.

The actual work crew were amazing. Although the job was expensive due to the scope of works, I’ve never felt that a crew of workers and company were more deserving of what they charged. There was a tonne of work to do, and they completed it step by step till it was done within the timelines that they promised with minimum disruption to my daily life as my two kids and I lived in the house while they worked. They were friendly, explained each stage of the job as they worked and helped me numerous times with additional projects that I was trying to complete in the basement during the job, frequently lending me their tools, equipment and their wealth of experience with solid advice along the way.

The foundation walls had four cracks opposite each other through to the footings, and due to the change in seasons, things were shifting in the house, creating cracks in the drywall upstairs. An engineer was consulted and underpinning was decided to be the solution, along with installing weeping tile, waterproofing and installing a sump pump. While preparing for the job, we found that past water leakage had caused substantial damage and rot to the framing and exterior walls surrounding the basement. Much of that had to be removed and replaced, which they carried out while repairing the foundation walls. They went over and above, helping me remove old windows in preparation for new ones coming later that month and building a new deck out the back to replace the old rotted-out one. They even replaced an interior load-bearing wall that had a water-damaged base plate.

It was just a staggering amount of work to do, but they completed it all step by step in record time, just before the snow arrived.

I can’t say enough good things about the Lety Construction crew and office staff. They were a pleasure to work with. I can now renovate the interior of the basement with confidence that I’ll now have a dry and stable basement for many decades to come and a substantially improved resale value on the house if I was ever to sell the place in the future.

What I like about LETY is that they are a family run business.
I looked over a half dozen websites and the LETY site was the only one where I noticed pics of actual employees and family.
My thought was that this is a company that actually has some skin in the game, they are putting themselves out there personally, and to me, that meant that they would have the integrity and honesty to assess my foundation with the best solution for my needs. Nothing shady, nothing "fly by night".
I was right. Wes came by and provided a solution and quote that was both reasonable and surprisingly cost effective for me.
Vadym was at my home within the week. He did a great job and cleaned up after himself. I can say that I am confident in the work done.

We are moving to Edmonton shortly and put an offer in on a home in Ritchie. The home inspection discovered foundation issues and suggested bringing in a foundational repair expert. We contacted Lety from Ontario and they walked us through what this could be - both worst case and best case scenarios. They offered to go out and look at the place again in-person, explained what they saw based on their experience, and wrote up an estimate. We didn't go through with the home purchase - and so we cannot comment on the quality of work. But the professionalism, responsiveness, and care shown to us by the team at Lety was excellent!

In the process of selling my home the inspector found cracks in the foundation. An after hours email was immediately responded to and Wes was out to inspect the next day at 10am. He gave me a quote and the guys were completed the repair within 48 hours. The crew that came out was excellent to deal with and removed as little drywall as possible making my repair significantly easier. From office staff to field crew, everyone was excellent to deal with and made an awful situation go much better than I expected. I was able to close my sale on schedule all thanks to their quick response.
