Some back story to a long and drawn out situation that lead us here today.

Last year around October my wife and I moved into a new home as we were expecting our first baby! The house was great! However the yard wasn’t fully fenced off and the deck didn’t have any stairs going down into the backyard.

Kiwi came and finished the job in one day! They did an amazing job and we very happy with the final product that they provided us.

Fast forward to this summer. After a few days of the heavy rains we noticed that our garage roof was leaking. We contacted Kaden to see if he could come take a look. After multiple back and forth conversations about dates and rescheduling he finally came over and sealed a few spots above the garage which he thought might be problem.

The roof was fine for a month or so as we really didn’t have any heavy rainfall up until a few months ago. We contacted Kaden again to see if he could come take a look which he did say to us that if this doesn’t fix it, then let me know and I will come back and have another look.

He provided us a few options on time and dates that would work for us for the second look at the garage. We set a time and date for another inspection. He couldn’t make it. No big deal right? So a few weeks later we set another date and this time he says he’ll be here for sure! Well he didn’t make it again. Not only is this frustrating but also an inconvenience for my wife as she’s taking care of a newborn baby and the second time we were having him come by my wife needed to get childcare to help out and he no showed without letting us know he couldn’t make it.

The lack of any real back and forth communication just isn’t there. We haven’t heard from him in over 2 weeks now after he told us that a family member was exposed to Covid. Who knows, that could’ve been his way of just completely avoiding us.

This is my first review of anything ever. I don’t take any sort of pride in writing this but I’m honestly at my wits end with this situation and the lack of any real ownership of saying that you’re gonna be here at a set time and date and actually sticking with it.

I absolutely DO NOT recommend Kiwi construction simply because of the zero communication between us, and it wasn’t for the lack of effort on my end. It takes days or even weeks for a single text message to be replied back.if he did want to do the work, he should have just been upfront with us to begin with so we could find a capable company to actually help us out.
