Gone terribly downhill in the last year to two years. It was never anything fancy, the unit is a decently spacious 2 bedroom, but there haven't been any repairs in years. In the last 12 months alone, I've been home 4 separate times when maintenance staff came to check one thing or another for regular inspection, and I've told them of a simple tap repair that needs done. Hasn't been done.

Their response to cockroach infestations is to leave sticky traps down in the hallways, stairwells, and in front of the garbage chute room, and leave chemical roach food blocks in the hallways for any pet to have a lick at.

The most delightful woman is no longer here doing her job cleaning the building, because she was likely so tired of cleaning up human waste in the elevators (we'll get to the elevators) and hallways. Her replacement can be found every morning in the lobby loudly talking on her phone.

One of the two elevators has been broken for nearly a year. I first discovered this when coming up from the basement one night. The elevator gave a ding, signalling it's arrival, the light on the "up" button went out, signalling it's arrival, but the doors didn't open. Instead I heard a small child call for his mother, who was in the basement party room, because the doors wouldn't open. A couple swift kicks got the doors to peel apart eventually, the method has spread, and now the doors are conveniently dinged up so you know exactly where to kick and free yourself.

Every other week we receive a notice that they must enter our unit for some reason or other, or that we'll have no water or electricity or heat for some such amount of time. The most recent notice tells us that for the next two months (Aug - Oct) we'll only have sporadic hot water, if we have any water at all, and possibly no electricity as they "upgrade the boilers". And to "thank us for our understanding and support" they're going to apply for an Above Guideline Increase and make us pay for it.

You're so welcome, Killam Apartment REIT.

The current managers of my location are unprofessional and rude, nothing ever gets fixed. There is no security for the parking garage and I’ve found people sleeping in the garage on many occasions. Cars get broken into often. Because of serious injury and cancer I have a handicap parking pass, I asked the building manager to get me a better spot to accommodate my disability, but I told them I’m willing to wait for someone to move out so I don’t require them to kick someone out of a spot. I waited months, noticing people move out, only to find out that the manager was giving more accessible spots to new people, that is discrimination. I had to contact my lawyer but haven’t decided if I’ll continue. To be clear, Lisa at 200 eagle is amazing but things need to change at 100 eagle, hardly “luxury apartments “

I have lived here for nearly a decade. The building is not a healthy environment. SOME of staff aren't attentive to matters unless directly made to do so in bylaw form. If you need more adequate proof please personally message,. I'd be more then willing to go over the reasons/ personal results.

We were tenants of Killiam Reit. We were moving from across Canada and werent able to see our unit before moving in (virtual tours only). When we arrived our unit was not painted - exposed spackle covering holes, had used cigarettes everywhere and was not cleaned. We needed to end our lease due to another move for work and Killiam refused to work with us - a lease accession was not possible due to our unit being in shambles and the luxury price point of 2900$/month. Awful awful company!! Do not rent with them. No security and homeless people sleeping in lobby of our building as well.

For such an expensive property for the Cambridge area you would think the property management company would take better care of the premises.
The hand rails in the garage are rusty and paint chipped, the fountain out front is broken andthere is a spider infestation problem in many balcony units.
There is visitor parking out front but it is difficult to get a spot as tenants park there (which they are not supposed to do) blocking visitor access.
This can be frustrating as some visitors with physical disabilities have to park on the top level of the parking structure and work their way up and down at quite a distance.

I was a tenant with them for a year. It was ok at first. Then at the time of leaving the property they charged me 800$ saying it was for bed bug treatment even after having tenant insurance . I mailed them asking questions and it has been more than a week now and they have not been kind or responsible enough for an explanation or replying back to me. Extremely irresponsible staff, poor management and non-transparent policies . Would never suggest anyone to stay here.

We were tenants fro almost 3 years...Unprofessional, rude and condescending.
Charged us cleaning fees without sending us a proper detailed invoice, which we are still waiting.

I was a tenant in one of their buildings for 5 years. My building was well maintained and clean. I was on their site looking for the contact information for the manager of my building. They were very helpful when I was in the process of moving out.
