If you’re hesitant about this contractor, don’t be. The company and the team is easily the best in ottawa! The pricing is easily among the best for the quality you get, the professionalism is top notch from the first message and contract to the final cleanup, and the communication is 10/10.

We hired Kevin Joly and his team for two projects: a large perimeter fence and a new patio, and we couldn’t be happier.

Fence: Dany and the crew took on a big footprint and handled it flawlessly. They checked layout and gate placement with us before each step, kept the lines straight and level, and were punctual and respectful every day. They cleaned up at the end of each shift, and our neighbors even commented on how friendly they were.

Patio: Same excellent experience. The patio team did a phenomenal job with a solid base, proper slope for drainage, and super crisp edges. They offered helpful suggestions on pattern and borders.

Overall: Both teams stayed on schedule, gave proactive updates and wrapped up with a final walkthrough to make sure we were 100% happy. Great value, great people, great results. We highly recommend Kevin, the fence team and the patio team.

We had Kevin out to give us a fence estimate about ten years ago. He was the only one that wasn't installing a "steel reinforced fence post". He told us his pvc post is stronger than the steel tube the other companies would be installing. Unfortunately we didn't hire Kevin to do the job and we've had nothing but problems with our fence since. Part of it blew down in a windstorm a few years ago and we had to pay the company to come back and fix it. This spring in a thunderstorm, another part blew over. The fence looks so awful now that we are thinking of replacing the whole thing. Our neighbour's fence, which Kevin installed 2 years before we got our fence done, has not had any issues and still looks new today. We regret not believing what Kevin was telling us, but in hindsight, it makes a lot of sense. For his honesty, he deserves a 5-star review.

You get what you pay for and that is certainly true of the landscape work done by K. Joly for us. We were extremely impressed by the quality of the materials they used, the skill with which it was installed and the prep work the crew carried out in advance of putting in our garden areas, installing our front walkway and building our back patio. The amount of care and precision with which the friendly, courteous and professional crew approached setting up, doing the work and then cleaning up each day was more than we have seen on similar jobs in the past.

We gladly recommend K. Joly and would use their services without hesitation if we ever have another outside project.
