I understand that mistakes happen, but several basic mistakes and ghosting customers does not seem like an acceptable practice.

I've contacted them to file my taxes as I have usually been doing them myself and didn't want to worry about making mistakes that would end up costing me a lot of money on top of the 250$ I paid them. They had to redo my paperwork twice after I've noticed some basic, yet major mistakes despite taking the time to go for an initial appointment in person to ensure they would have all the information to file my papers. After having a second accountant from a different company look at my situation, it is clear that the employees do not understand taxes, have not reached for any credits on my behalf and are blindly following the automated system. If something seems off, they are not able to question themselves or even notice that the may be a significant mistake. I had to spend hours on the phone with Revenue Québec to understand why my papers had to be further correct after being sent. They told me that when mistakes are this big, your profile is automatically reviewed and corrected and that this should have been caught immediately by the accountant.

After reaching out to Joshua Morin, I simply received a message explaining why they made one of their mistake without acknowledging the very patchy work done from the beginning. When I let them know I was disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and the trouble caused, I was ignored and left with no answer. I would recommend going elsewhere as the minimum that should be done is to respond to customers when faced with such a situation.
