Compared to the hundreds of libraries I've visited across the North American continent, this one doesn't hold up. Locked toilets, slow and unreliable internet, noise not only from children but also from drunk or drugged adults, few places to work and opening hours with a lunch break when you have to leave the library for an hour, even though it has enough staff so that they could alternate. The only positives you will find here are quite nice librarians, a warm room and the fact that there is a library this far north in Canada with some internet. I would love to come back here, but there is more than enough room for the library to improve.

It's a great place to rest after doing some exploring. The free wifi lets you check your email while you rest. The staff are friendly and helpful. Of course there's also the library to check out.

A very warm and friendly environment welcomes you at the Inuvik Centennial Library, where, as a visitor, I cozied up with a good book (or graphic novel) and appreciated their absolutely free WiFi. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful, as well.
