Hutten’s professional and experienced architects and workers created the most gorgeous landscape and patio plan for our summer home. They dealt easily with all the challenges thrown at them of shallow plumbing lines, massive tree stumps being removed manually due to foundation damage, almost no soil due to bedrock, uneven ground, and covering a septic tank with garden. The results are safe (no trip hazards for elderly residents), easy to maintain, and aesthetically beautiful. Thank you for being there for our second major job!

They arrive early in the morning when snow removal is required so I can can get out to work by 6:00am. They are dependable and do a great job in clearing my driveway and large parking area. A year ago we began working with Hutten and Co. to design a wheelchair accessible path and waterfront at our cottage. The team also worked with us to design a low-maintenance garden. Hutten and Co. constantly impressed me with their professionalism and commitment to working with our family. They listened to our needs and concerns to ensure all aspects of the design would meet our family's unique needs. They even thought of things we didn't - like placing a row of rocks along the waterfront in the event my son's wheelchair brakes malfunctioned to prevent any "runaway chairs" from getting wet! Creating a family space where all members of our family, wheelchairs included, can enjoy time at the cottage was important to me.

All members of the team, from the design group, to the crew working at our cottage, were professional, friendly, and interested in creating a space that worked for our family. I cannot recommend Hutten and Co. enough. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Edited to add: Less than a year after these photos were taken our son suddenly died. Hutton and Co. sent condolences to our family. They made a donation to a Waterloo area charity in our son's name. The following summer they worked with our family to help us create a memory garden at our cottage. I was already impressed with Hutton and Co. prior to the loss of our son, but to say Hutton and Co. exceeded our expectations is an understatement. These are people you want you want to work with. Hutton and Co. offer excellent professional services, but they are also a group of fundamentally good people.

Hutton & Co installed a floating dock on a large pond at the bottom of our property. The crew was great. They arrived promptly on the designated day, assembled the components in the midst of swarms of mosquitos and black flies and then positioned the dock perfectly. To get to the water they needed to drive their truck and long trailer holding the three dock sections across our lawn and navigate a steep hill. No problem. It was obvious both men knew exactly what to do and completed the job to my complete satisfaction. The dock looks great and the customer service was exemplary.
