Went to see the clerk.
She knew her business and booked me the last room for three nights.
For a sold out place, it was very quiet.
I managed to get my situation done, I found i could cancel my last stay.
This was a different Front Dest Clerk, and within minutes I had the funds back in my account.

We had a suite at The Hillview. It had everything we needed and wanted. The kitchen was stocked well. Enjoyed the room. The only thing I would upgrade is the flooring - wish there was a hard surface instead of carpet - which is never as clean as you would like. We would stay here again. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff.

Spacious room with two queen beds. Large desk, a/c in room, microwave, fridge, etc. (this was not a kitchenette). Nice touch was a balcony off the room with a sweeping view of the area near Vanderhoof (yes, Hillview is on a hill). We could sit here and enjoy a beverage. It is a bit on the outskirts of town so it's not really walkable, but a short drive brings you to options such as the Homestead Brewhouse (recommended). Room has been updated although the bathroom fixtures are a bit older. Adding to the "retro" is that you get an actual room key!

Great place! We come out of the bush once or twice a month and stay here. We have been doing this for years and really see the upgrades of renovations in the past few years. Great shower , beds, etc. Safe place with stuff in back of truck.

Rooms were clean, kitchenware was new and thus a lot better than at other motels/hotels we stayed!

Was an amazing stay here, we had needed a ride and we're looking for a taxi, the gentleman at the front desk offered us a ride to get something to eat since we didn't eat much that day. So kind and generous. Room was spacious and clean which we love to see. One of our best experiences guest rooms/hotels so far 😊 Thank you!

It’s a nice little town, and this hotel was really affordable. I do wish they offered more services, but overall, it was very clean and quiet. I slept really well during my stay.

In July, I stayed in a hotel. I really liked it, the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly. They respond quickly to requests. The room has everything for a comfortable stay. A bonus was the fact that the view from the balcony is great, the territory is large and there is a place to walk. Nice place and great location.
