Absolute geniuses that I’m proud to have on my renovation team. I inherited a neglected century home that was subject to Ottawa’s new Vacant Unit tax as it was on file as a Triplex. The city required me to submit before and after blue prints and obtain a building permit to change my forever home into a single family dwelling in City Hall’s records.

Jacques and his team came in, measured every corner and delivered beautiful blue prints that beat the tax and are beautiful design for my new home. They have really good ideas and they’re willing to fight for them. There were a few occasions where I thought I knew what I wanted and his team argued that I wanted natural light instead. I pushed back on some ideas at first and when I saw one room they’d designed, I realized how wrong I was. They have vision.

Anne, the office manager is quite sweet and holds the place together in a very organized fashion. Every time I had questions about a bill or how hours were racked up, she had incredibly detailed notes that made it very easy to understand just how hard they were working on my project.

Johnny is always quick to answer the phone or email with building code questions on a variety of issues. I sometimes just send pictures with simple questions and I get back everything I wanted to know. Great person to work with.

Jacques is great at settling conflict between trades people. I always say that if my carpenter isn’t fighting with my HVAC tech, plumber or electrician then someone is slacking. Jacques is almost like having a lawyer on staff. He’ll tell me who is right and who is wrong right down to the building code bullet point. Makes my life easy as the general contractor.

I’ve included some before & in-progress photos of their design for the rebuild of my rear addition. The improved light is obvious.

With Jacque's superb drawings we removed an addition, changed the roofline, added a wall of back windows, and reconfigured the space inside and out.
