Left jobs undone but claimed they were done. Lied about conditions of job site. No communication between contractors and clients

Of course there's no record with my name on it. For 1, it's not my real name. And 2, this "company" has been hired by my Landlord.

Your so called professional team lied about my unit having fresh dog feces and urine. Which was absolutely impossible as there was no dog present in my unit!!!

And also if your crew do their best to complete the work, then why was the job left undone. I have no use of my dining room, as they ripped up the old flooring and didn't put down new. It's concrete for a long weekend!!!! Your company has had the dimensions for my unit since January this year, so I don't want to hear that they didn't have enough materials.

So your professional crews lied about the job site, left and didn't inform anyone on site. And then when they did bother to show up, they did half a job. And left me with a useless room.

I'm glad I'm not the one paying for this treatment by a company.

Like other people have said previously, I just saw one of their drivers, this one in a small pickup truck #25, driving extremely dangerously on Hwy 8 and the 401 in Kitchener. He almost caused two accidents, was driving extremely fast, tailgating, etc. I got dashcam video of some of it and will be giving it to the OPP.

Awful work ! I had a couple pieces of tile base board fall off. Contractor came out and mortared the tiles back on, but didn't grout. Complained to my resident managers and they had a contractor come back to do the grout. Well first off the grout is not even the same colour, and they left a complete mess. Why should it be my responsibility to clean up after the "contractor".
If you're looking for quality work, this is NOT the place to call. Terrible work.

One of the workers in van number 07 almost just hit a hit in front of me and then almost hit me after. Then the guy in the van started swearing and freaking out that he almost back into me. The man is very unprofessional. I would not hire this company for nothing. Can't even get a hold of them

I'm an resident manager of a property complex in Windsor. As such I have to deal with many contractors from various companies and I have to say HCS so far has been my favourite. Everybody is always very polite, the project manager is very efficient and professional and they all go above and beyond by staying till the very late hours of the night or early hours of the morning to complete a project when I need them to. I was puzzled by reading some of these horrible reviews and thought I'd place my positive input into it as there's always two sides to a story.
I always get a confirmation email before they show up and I always get multiple phone calls afterwards to make sure that I was satisfied by the job.
I've never had an issue with the time of a project needing to be completed and many of my colleagues agree when we discuss our every day ordeals...
The bottom line is that whether I need a Paint Job, a bathroom renovation, a kitchen renovation, tiles being installed, flooring put in, anything at all to do with my apartments from top to bottom, I trust HCS more than any other contractor I've worked with in the past and will continue to do so as long as they stay this way.

HCS recently renovated the bathrooms and kitchens in our 40 unit townhouse complex.
The conditions they had to work under were sketchy at best. 3 month timeline due to a grant which left little to no time for planning and fabrication, multiple changes mid-work from our end, surprises/more work behind every wall, etc, etc.
Despite all this, the project was finished on time! Our kitchens and bathrooms are now mould free, sparkly new and beautiful.
They handled every change order with grace. They took care of any complaint we had with class.
A huge thank you for sticking with us through all this and doing a wonderful job!

This has been the worst renovation project I have ever encountered. They were aware of the time constraints that this project had to be done yet nothing but excuses as far as items on backorder and such were given. I was without a stove for 2 days and without a shower curtain rod for almost 2 weeks so I could not take a shower. They put holes in my bathroom and kitchen walls which are still yet to be repaired, stained my living room carpet,entrance carpet and upstairs carpet. I had no kitchen cupboard doors for over a month . They moved my stand over the toilet and broke it . They left a complete mess that took me over an hour to clean up in the kitchen . They absolutely do not clean up after themselves . No renovations to be done in the living room so there is no reason whatsoever for them to be in my living room and drop Caulking and plaster all over my carpet. The bathroom renovation was just as sloppily done as the kitchen Not only is there holes in the wall but there's caulking all over and plaster the bathtub, the floor, my blinds, counters, floors, walls, the back of my door and toilet still has not been replaced. I found the workers to be very rude and disrespectful and on one occasion came home and my door was left wide open after a contractor had been in there supposedly doing work. Nothing has been completed on time and there's been nothing but excuses. I would never recommend this company and if I could score them at a zero I would.
