Avoid this company at all costs! They are incredibly disrespectful, rude, and incompetent. They accept jobs they can't handle and operate unsafely. Protect your community and do not hire them!

We’ve had several near-collisions due to their insufficient flagging and lack of knowledge about safety regulations.

Their rudeness is appalling. They once turned on a water spraying trailer without warning, drenching us and causing me to inhale water. They started spraying just feet away from us without any notice. And when I say water I mean WATER as 5 of their worker stood there watching. The flagger that was 3 feet from us could have easily told us the water was coming and to close our windows. But no….

Beware they cost a lot for a whole lot of nothing! Don’t waste your money, stay safe.

Extremely dangerous company to hire. They turned on their water spraying trailer to spray the gravel road. Which would have been fine, if they had let us know it was about to turn on and warn us to close our sunroof and windows. Instead, 4 of the workers just signalled him to start spraying. I was sitting in the back, and inhaled what felt like a cup of water, and was soaked from the belt up. My partner was in the back with me, and her parents were driving. It was her birthday.

Even with all of that info, I would not have been as upset as I am/was if it had only been a simple and stupid mistake. But all of them smiled as we were being soaked. I do not know what provoked them to do what they did, since we had not even spoken to them, but I don’t like people who enjoy screwing with others. This was not just annoying, it was truly distressing and disrespectful. The fact that they found amusement in our discomfort and did not show any remorse or offer an apology afterward makes this company not only unprofessional but also unethical. I strongly advise against hiring this company for any services, as their behavior demonstrates a complete lack of regard for their clients' safety and well-being. We were left feeling violated and humiliated. Avoid this company at all costs if you value decency and respect.

Lastly, everyone in Ucluelet has complained about this company. Specifically about their dangerous flagging procedures. 1 inexperienced flagger, is NOT enough to control the busiest 4-way intersection in the entire town.

I do not often make reviews, but this has gone too far. And many of the reviews will say similar things.

Had someone in a foreman pickup(LT 6 2) on July 1 swearing at me from their truck because they moved out of turn at a 4 way. We both went to go at the same time(I'd arrived at the stop at the same time as the car infront of this person) and I stopped to be courteous and wave him through and he felt it warranted swearing from a company truck in a crowded parking lot. Nothing about the interaction warranted hostility and I'd be wary having a nut bar like that doing work for me.

This company is an absolute disaster, I’ve never seen such an unorganized construction company in my life.

I live in Sooke BC, have for 13 years. It used to take 30 minutes to get home. It has gradually become more populated and has increased from 30 minutes to an hour. Very frustrating but I get it. Now it takes an hour and 45 minutes due to multiple poorly managed Hazelwood construction sites. The disorganization of these sites in Sooke are like nothing I've seen before. Why is this company working on and closing 2 major streets at the same time? There are an estimated 20 thousand people using Otter Point and Church Road almost every day.
There is no reason these projects need to be under way at the exact same time. Alternating them would have at least given the residents an option. I left my home at 3pm to pick something up at the vet, an approximate 3.5-minute drive on an average day. It took 45 minutes. There is single lane alternating traffic intermittently and poorly timed on the Church Rd site but is for some reason closed completely, in both directions, during peak rush hour times in the afternoon. I understand these things need to get done and none of you live here but things like alternate routes and time of day closures need to be looked at before projects like this move forward.

Fine at traffic control, but have absolutely no accountability for cleaning up once they are done for the day leaving out unmarked signs for the unknowing to hurt themselves.
