Isabelle a été une perle du début jusqu'à la fin (et même après la transaction quand j'avais des questions). Dès mon premier message timide à Isabelle, elle m'a tout de suite mise à l'aise et a cédulé une rencontre pour me connaitre et connaitre mes besoins. Comme c'était mon premier achat, j'avais un peu de rétience à visiter les propritétés qui me plaisaient sur Centris. Elle m'a encouragé à sortir de ma zone de confort et à visiter afin de pouvoir comparer. BINGO - on est tombé sur LA propriété lors de la deuxième visite à peine... Elle a pris le temps de me conseiller et de me guider à travers chaque étape. Isabelle est efficace, rigoureuse, a le sens de l'écoute et le bien-être de ses client à coeur. Surtout, elle est très réactive et cela est fortement apprécié lors d'une transaction immobilière où tout se déroule assez rapidement. Elle m'a aidé à céduler les visites, m'a guidé pour le choix de la banque, m'a mis en contact avec un inspecteur et une notaire de confiance. Elle a passé énormément de temps avec moi à répondre à mes mille et une question. Bref, le processus d'acquisition d'un duplex a été extrêment SIMPLE ET RAPIDE grâce à Isabelle.

Nouvellement installée dans mon nouveau quartier que j'adore, je me sens si reconnaissante d'avoir eu la chance d'avoir eu Isabelle à mes côtés. Tout a commencé avec un texto de sa part qui disait "Hey Yu - jette un oeil a celui-ci, on visite?". Elle a trouvé LA propriété de mes rêves et j'ai hâte de pouvoir travailler avec elle à nouveau sur un prochain projet immobilier.

We hired Kris, Jenny and Kirby on a friend's recommendation and overall we were very pleased. They offer a lot of knowledge and can answer a whole bunch of questions, ensuring that you get the house that you want. They were also quite excellent at selling our condo, we sold much faster than others in the building, ensuring to price it correctly. Since we needed to sell our place and buy a new place. There were a few hiccups as the process is quite convoluted and if you're new to it, it is good to have a friendly and patient broker that is happy to answer all of your questions. And Kris definitely fits that descrition.
The reason I give four stars instead of five is that we also bought from a fellow Sutton representative at this office. The house we received was in dire condition. It had clearly not been cleaned in an extremely long time, the yard was left a mess and the garage was completely full with the sellers belongings. It took quite a lot of back and forth and consulting to have everything fixed and it took us an enormous amount of time and money to finally get the place cleaned. I'm quite a surprised that a broker would allow their client to transfer a house in such a condition and since that broker was also at this Sutton office it was quite disappointing but that does not reflect badly on Kris, Jenny or Kirby who I would highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent experience with Isabelle Plante.

She was willing to take her time in showing us properties so that we didn't feel rushed or pressured into buying a house that was a bad fit. She was a walking calculator able to give us rough estimates of how much home repairs would cost during visits for an educated evaluation. She steered us away from flops and let us know right away when a good deal came into the market.

She also had the connections we were looking for. Had a good inspector at the ready so that she could haggle down the price we were buying for. She has connections to English speaking notaries, and a history at the Scotiabank to help move things along if the mortgage discourse stalls.

In her negotiations, she never let us down. She gave us reasonable expectations for price reductions, and delivered when we wanted to fight with the sellers about an issue with the fence line. She also never spoke down to us, which was a relief as a couple with no prior house buying experience, and little financial knowledge.

We've recommended her highly to family and friends already, and are happy in our new home.

This is a review for Isabelle Plante, Realtor extraordinaire. Five stars. None better.

I can not speak highly enough about Isabelle. She was recommended by a colleague at work who had a terrific experience in purchasing her condo in little Italy, and although we were looking for something different Isabelle was up for the challenge. She is passionate, knowledgeable, comes from a background in the banking industry and runs the numbers like an accountant. She is fluent in French and English. She charmed realtors and sellers alike, and to be honest, she's just a really cool person.

Ours was not a regular home buying experience. First time home buyers, we actually had a visit lined up before talking to her and she convinced the seller to let her come with us. She taught us how to critique images on realtor, how to anticipate issues when touring homes, she sent us list upon filtered list of places that fit our interests. When our first purchase fell through because of undisclosed issues, she was a source of reassurance and optimism. She also went to bat for us, going above and beyond to resolve the situation (a situation that was resolved because of her attention to detail and knowledge about what to put into the promise to purchase). It took us eight months to find the home we hope to retire in, over eight offers and thousands of kilometers driven within a 2 hour radius of Montreal. She was there through it all, through blizzards and spring, rejections and sneaky homes with issues!

In our second round of attempts to purchase she was always there, spending the day driving out of town to see multiple properties, taking tours with us, and following up from the car as we drove to the next place. She helped us think about what to offer, what we could afford, and what we wanted. She's also like a mamma bear. It doesn't matter what the market's like, it doesn't matter if she stands to make more or less. She cares about her clients and tries to educate them and guide them in the direction that is best for them. She knows exceptional inspectors, has terrific contacts in multiple banks and for different kinds of renovation needs. If she doesn't know, or you can't find out, she finds out for you. An encyclopedia of knowledge.

Isabelle is a champion. We actually considered moving out of province but couldn't imagine purchasing a home without her. I've had to tell people that we're not related, because we're not. She's just brilliant. If you are buying or selling a home in Montreal (especially if you're buying) go with Isabelle Plante.

Someone on Facebook recommended Isabelle to me but I was hesitant to blindly trust a strangers recommendation. After interviewing Isabelle and a few other agents I knew she was perfect for us. As a first time buyers my partner and I had a lot of questions and concerns. Our understanding of the market was barely above the basic level but Isabelle made us feel so comfortable. She gave us time to ask as many questions as we wanted, she never made us feel silly and was always happy to answer questions. More often than not, she knew our questions before we could even ask them. If we didn’t understand something she would find different ways to explain things and made sure we understood everything. She was really there with us every step of the way and made sure we were comfortable at every stage. We never felt pressured to make an offer on a home or to use her connections, we never felt pushed or pulled in a certain direction that would benefit her. She was patient with us, she truly wanted to make sure we got what we wanted at a fair price and ensured we wouldn’t be taken advantage of. Isabelle is someone who absolutely works for you, along with you. She will advocate for you at every moment. If the seller is slow at getting certain things to you, she applies pressure to get things moving. If she seems something concerning, once you’re out of the viewing she will tell you. She’s upfront about everything, she will tell you if the seller is asking too much or too little and why. She is honest, plain and simple. She’s extremely knowledgeable about the market and any market changes. She has amazing connections in the industry that will ensure your transaction is as smooth as possible.
