J'ai signé un bail avec le groupe en juin. Après l'emménagement, nous avons réalisé que l'appartement du dessous était insalubre, ce qui n'avait bien sûr pas été nommé par le propriétaire. L'entièreté du logement sent les excréments de chat, il est impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres sans que des odeurs d'excréments y rentrent, mais il est aussi impossible de laisser les fenêtres fermées, car le manque d'aération exacerbe l'odeur.

Aussi, des fuites étaient présentes partout dans le toit de la véranda, causant un écoulement d'eau directement sur la prise de sécheuse. Le risque d'incendie a été présent pendant 3 mois, et c'est seulement après avoir insisté fortement que le propriétaire a finalement fermé les fuites. Il a laissé l'eau accumulée dans le plafond, et la moisissure continue de s'étendre.

Nous avons trouvé une entente pour terminer le bail. Nous avions croisé l'ancien locataire qui nous a confirmé que le délai d'habitation et la cause du départ qui nous avait été nommé à la signature du bail n'était pas la réalité. Celui-ci avait quitté lui aussi pour les odeurs, et comme au cours de notre habitation, aucune solution n'avait été proposée ou mise en place pour rendre l'appartement habitable.

Je rédige ce commentaire pour avertir de possibles futurs locataires. Je déconseille fortement le groupe pour votre sécurité et votre santé mentale.

I signed a lease with the group in June. After moving in, we realized that the apartment below was unsanitary, which of course had not been named by the landlord. The entire apartment smells of cat feces, it is impossible to open the windows without the smell of feces entering, but it is also impossible to leave the windows closed, because the lack of ventilation exacerbates the smell.

Also, there were leaks everywhere in the roof of the veranda, causing water to flow directly onto the dryer outlet. The fire risk was present for 3 months, and it was only after very insistently that the landlord finally closed the leaks. He left the water accumulated in the ceiling, and the mold continues to spread.

We have reached an agreement to terminate the lease. We had met the former tenant who confirmed to us that the period of habitation and the reason for the departure that had been named to us when signing the lease was not the reality. He had also left because of the smells, and as during our habitation, no solution had been proposed or put in place to make the apartment habitable.

I am writing this comment to warn possible future tenants. I strongly advise against the group for your safety and mental health.

Vraiment déçu ! Me refuser l’appartement de mon ami parce qu’il y a 7 ans un propriétaire m’a poursuivi à la régie pour 2 mois de loyer quand j’étais étudiante ! Une cause déjà réglé en plus et qui n’ont même pas pris la peine de vérifier ! Si c’est trop difficile de faire des vérifications faites-en pas ! Surtout que c’est un quartier pauvre et que j’ai un bon salaire et que le loyer coute ce que je fait en une semaine. Sans coeur.

Some kind and understanding staff, and others very rude and condescending and refuse to listen to what you have to say/will just speak over you. Called my mother about problems regarding my lease BEFORE calling me as she is co-signer. But did not even try to reach me first, as if I am a child. Prices too expensive for what they are. Not the worst experience but I'd advise to go elsewhere.

Edit April 2019: I got some money troubles and ended up owing Melatti a decent amount of money. Understandably, I was reported to the Régie. I did, however, pay this before a court date and was told that the court date would be removed. When staff was confirming payment, they asked me to delete my review, though it's not even as negative as others and I was only being honest. I told them that my issue was only that my mother was contacted before I was, because they were rude and telling me I "know exactly why" my mother was called. They threatened to "post pictures" of my "dirty" apartment which they supposedly took pictures of in December 2018, which was MONTHS ago. They accused me of not answering the door when someone comes, which I don't do and that I did not answer a letter, but I never got a letter that needed a reply. Again, their apartments are nice and the buildings are pleasant. Not the worst but I do think you could get better service elsewhere.

agree with previous reviewer. Rude and unprofessional. Shouldn't advertise if you don't want anyone bothering you with phone inquiries. Wouldn't answer the phone. The receptionist is okay, then when she puts you through to the person who I assume is responsible for rent, that person will either not answer your call or hang up repeatedly on you. Show volume of the company you are dealing with. Very strange way to do business!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! THE LADY AT THE RECEPTION NATHALY IS RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. LETS NOT TOUCH ON THE ADMINISTRATIVE. YOU HAVE TO FIGHT AND RUN AFTER EVERYTHING NO REPERATION OR RENOVATION EVER! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE OR FIXED LIKE ITS IN YOUR HOUSE.. I WOULDNT RENT HERE IF I WERE YOU! PLACES ARE NOT SOUND PROOF U CAN EVEN HEAR UR NEIGHBOURS COUGH, HEAR THEIR FOOTSTEPS EVEN IF U LIVE ABOVE! THEY INCREASE PRICES WITH NO NOTICE AND IMPOSE THINGS ON YOU! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ESPECIALY FOR THE MONEY THEY CHARGE YOU!
