So we ordered gravel for our driveway we asked for crushed gravel they brought us half sand and half gravel. If I wanted sand I just would have had to go up my back 50 here and get a load of sand. It's just going to waste away when it rains. All will be there would be the big rocks. It's not going to pack down or Harden or anything like that and they did not tell us that it was half and half until we called them and Jim said, why didn't you tell me this. She didn't know why and not to mention he's lifting up his dump we were not here and he took down one of the phone wires that went to the pole. I guess that's not a big deal to us cuz we don't have a phone but it was very close to the hydro that goes to the house. So you need to get out of your truck and look around first and make sure there's no wires around anywhere but I would not recommend you get anything for your driveway because it's mostly sand. We will never deal with them again.

Had stone delivered to our cottage, we believe her name was Cassidy that answers the phones was so unbelievable helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and such a pleasure to deal with as well the driver was excellent and friendly. Our stone was delivered right on time to the minute! Will be a returning customer as we work on fixing up our place! The stone was also very clean! Thank you!

I was almost rear ended by one of their large belly dump trucks on the highway. I put my signal on quite early to turn, at least 30 seconds before and with 8-10 car lengths between us. He did not slow down at all and if I had not pulled my truck onto the shoulder, I would have been hit. Not impressed by the driver I encountered today.

Down to earth friendly people providing professional services. My experience with Gemmell Sand & Gravel Ltd from the drivers to the office staff was great, no issues at all.
