Ordered a 12'x14'x7.5' tent with 5' walls, windows, stove pipe ring and a screen door in July 2021.

Prior to placing the order, I called to make sure they could put the stove pipe ring in the roof, which they said no problem. When I placed the order, in the comments, I again wrote "stove pipe ring in roof, front left of roof when looking towards front door". After I placed the order, I again called and said "I just placed an order, here is the number, please make sure to put the stove pipe ring in the roof." Again, yes for sure, no problem.

When the tent arrived, my invoice said "stove pipe ring in roof". However, when I opened the tent they had the stove pipe ring in the wall.

They admitted their mistake, offered to take the tent back and move the stove pipe ring, or refund the cost of the stove pipe ring. Decent.

Being I needed the tent for hunting in the upcoming weeks, I asked for a refund for the stove pipe ring, then paid a local industrial seamstress to move the stove pipe ring to the roof and make the old hole it left in the wall a window; the work cost me an additional 425$ on top of the cost of the tent but I was strapped for time.

Since then, I have been getting the run around about the actual reimbursement and haven't received any refund. I have called several times and someone "will call you back" every time, who never does. I have also sent many emails which they quit responding to.

All and all, I like the tent how it is now, and I am from the north and understand what its like working on northern time. But at this point I still haven't received any refund for the mistake.

On our way back from Inuvik, we popped in to get a new duffle bag. We were met by a very lovely woman, who gave us a tour of the factory, after helping us find the perfect bag. Good price, great qaulity, lovely staff, well worth the visit!

BUYER BEWARE; DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!! This company is a scam, we purchased a tipi almost a month ago with express shipping and we have received a confirmation that the order was received, they took the money, but have no sent anything. No tracking, no responses from emails or via telephone. Tried to support a company that appeared to make good quality tipis but instead got scammed.

I bought a teepee here when I was hitch-hiking through with my cat in about 2001 or 2002. It was handy that I was carrying the teepee with me on the way back down as the trapper named Al who gave my cat and I a lift had the front full of stuff so we moved it to the back of the truck and lashed it down with the canvas and ropes. Then I brought the teepee back to Alberta and LOVED it while I was working in the bush. My cat loved it too. My adventures took a surprise turn and I passed on the teepee to friends, who also loved and had a lot of fun with it. Next time I buy a teepee, I'll come to this company again first. Was also really intrigued learning about their wall tents and how people use them up north. Would consider getting one of them too in other circumstances, with a little wood stove inside and a nice floor... This company is a happy excellent part of my Canada. <3

This company was great to deal with. We ordered during Covid and were not surprised to learn that they were short staffed. Many items were tough to get during Covid and it was beyond their control. We loved that this is a native organization and look forward to working with them again. The tent was worth the wait! Thank you!

Purchased a 12x14 tent from this company and regret doing so. My father flew to alberta for an elk hunting trip and after the second night we experienced a significant rainfall. The tent leaked every where! Our only saving grace was the giant tarp i had. I sent a video to Destiny who said i would be getting a new tent but that i had to send the tent back to them on my own dollar. They do not stand behind their product and cant believe the customer service. To anyone who reads this DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS OUTFIT. Look elsewhere and spend a few extra dollars to get the quality you expect from an outfitter tent

Thirty years ago I purchased luggage at the Fort McPherson Tent and Canvas and it is still going strong! Beautifully made and extremely durable. And despite hard use, it still looks new!
