Found (Eugene) Five Star Concepts on Facebook Marketplace for a kitchen renovation. I didn't know what to expect. He was pleasant to talk to on the phone and we set up an appointment to see what needed to be done and give me a quote. Before calling him, I did my own research on how much things would cost if I did it on my own. Eugene came over and we talked about different ideas and I knew from what he was saying and what he pointed out that he was very knowledgeable and experienced. Next day he gave me a fair reasonable detailed quote and a date he could start. I accepted. Eugene got the job done. Was easy to work with. Always updated us. Was flexible with our needs. On budget. Very professional and easy to get along with. I highly recommend Eugene (Five Star Concepts) to anyone and would use him again. Here are some before and after photos.

As first time home buyers and having dreams to have a perfect renovated home we approached Eugene with hope and trust to have everything we desire in our budget. He outshined in every step, from being prompt in messages to ideas to suggestions to look and feel of how things will go in this renovation project in New Westminster. He renovated our kitchen, 2 washrooms and den in our apartment. He is skilled in his work field, truly professional and in depth knowledge of his work. What we also really appreciated is that he was mindful of our plans and budget, transparency was in every step he made in the project. He suggested the best budget friendly point of contacts for tiles, cabinets, faucets, counter tops etc no extra running around. He took the task of picking up many fixtures which were small yet important to us such the all the lighting of our choice. He made us feel trusted and satisfied in every phase of the entire renovation. We had strict timelines to adhere to and he did it within that which was the main highlight and so important to us. We highly recommend him for home renovations.

We had Five Star Concepts assemble and install an Ikea kitchen pantry in our apartment in May 2024. We could not be happier with the service.

We connected with Evgeny on Facebook marketplace. He was really responsive through chat to discuss and quote for the work. Once all units were delivered by Ikea, we connected with Evgeny again and paid the deposit to lock in a date.

On install date, he was on time and worked incredibly hard throughout the day to ensure everything went smooth, and made recommendations and alterations to improve the pantry we didn't think of when we were designing it. He even figured out a way to use left over countertop for shelves in the pantry which we did not think was possible. Saving us additional cost, time and effort.

We highly recommend using Five Star Concepts and we will be using them again for any future upgrades in our apartment.
